As Martin returns this Friday and its already nearly Christmas do you think we'll get a few mentions or scenes relating to Pauline's death, maybe Martin visiting the spot she was found dead or laying some flowers on her grave? If not i'd be highly disappointed as Martin was such a mummy's boy and he surely would of visited her grave upon his return or something?

Pauline died on Christmas Day I we might do, but will we get a reference to Jamie, Archie and Derek who also died on Christmas Day??

EE is so unrealistic that so many people from the same place have died on the same day which happens to be Christmas Day.

You never see anyone in a soap just sinking into an alcohol related doze in front of a film on Christmas Day, do you? And they call this realism

you did in the early days, there were a lot of scenes of the Fowlers and the Beales just sitting around chatting without any thing particular dramatic happening, just subtle nods to current and future storylines, Den turning up unexpectedly with a present for Vicki when only he and Michelle knew he was Vicki's father at that point, for example and Donna ringing to say happy Christmas to Kathy, when I don't even know if we the viewers knew she was the child Kathy had given up for adoption.

I think it was UKGold who ran every Christmas episode of EastEnders one weekend a few years back, the early ones were quite ordinary, now we have deaths and revelations every year

You do realise that a fictional television show can be a bit unrealistic because it's not actually real?
