I'm old enough to be pre proper sex ed in schools. We had an all girls assembly about periods (bit late for those of us that had started pre secondary school like, hmm, me) and 10 minutes in a biology lesson about intercourse, illustrated by a drawing of a man and woman lying together with their legs shut and not intertwined with him kissing her neck. There were dozens of children that believed wearing a scarf was adequate birth control! quite franky it's a good thing tv was more explicit in the 70s and 80s - we wouldn't have known anything from School!

Yes, you can get pregnant from anal sex as in theory it is possible if semen from the anus gets transferred into the vagina. HOWEVER, STDs are a BIGGER risk of happening then getting pregnant. The risk of getting an STD is phenomenally higher from anal sex then from vaginal sex.
