What Happened to Britney's Career in the UK?

If Britney was still 2002 Britney then I'm sure she would still be huge, the problem is she lost her spark, she can't dance anymore, she is awkward in interviews and she barely ever promotes anymore.

Work Bitch came when the "EDM LOLZ" scene was on the way out (especially in the US) so it was obviously going to struggle.

Oh I don't know, from what I've seen of her in Vegas I thought her dancing wasn't too bad. I must confess that she's not as good as she was in her peak but she's still not yet a has-been. I wouldn't write her off just yet. I agree about the interviews though. I get the feeling a lot of her interviews are staged or heavily rehearsed. They're not as spontaneous as they used to be. Work Bitch was obviously not gonna be a No 1 hit (partly because it's not radio-friendly really) but it wasn't a total flop either. It got to No 7 in the UK and a lot of people recognise the phrase "you better work bitch". It's a phrase I use a lot

Where on earth did you read that?

No person on this earth earns 100 million a week. Not even Bill Gates or the guy who created Facebook.

She actually makes $1 million a week: http://pagesix.com/2014/10/22/britne...week-in-vegas/ I remember reading that back in October and wishing I had that kind of money.

That's 1 million a week in vegas though, and she doesn't perform every single week of the year.

That's no different to what Celine Dion and Shania Twain are making.

I know that, but wouldn't she make a bit of money from the underwear and perfume lines and everytime someone buys one of her songs or albums (either new or downloaded, not second-hand)?

Britney will be making a TON of money don't you worry, her Vegas show, all her perfumes, her lingerie line as well as all the musical royalties and sales, she will definitely be bringing home that big, fat bacon.
I think at this point in her career she has nothing left to prove, she has her hardcore fans and she's fine with that, she doesn't want to go around the world promoting music, she's been there and done that years ago before the likes of Katy, Miley etc were even on anyone's radar, all she wants is a comfortable life with her kids and family and to release music every one in a while for her fans. She's earned that.

she could get that big hit again but it needs to be either more radio friendly and less suggestive to win over a bigger appeal apart from the fanbase.

I don't think she is far off from today's Rihanna, Miley & Katy Perry (who cannot sing live well either) so that she is a crap singer does not really matter, in this area it's all about the right producer and marketing anyway.
But Work B*** was a very weak single imho that sounded anonymous, much like the Femme Fatale singles (which were likeable but sort of faceless dance fodder)

But she probably is happy now and money wise settled for life so she could release a record that repeats her farting 33 times and care less if it sells
