Is Daniel worst ever candidate to get to this point?

Is it just me or does anyone think that Daniel is one of the worst candidates to get to this point? I think along side Michael, Helene, Stuart, Francesca etc, he is just so bad; if he had a bad personality which he does but was good at sales or negotiation, it would be understandable why he's there but he literally does nothing constructive. He whined all of last task about not being given opportunity to sell and then sold very little ( unless Felipe sold nothing). Unless the edit is unfair on the Apprentice. it bewilders me how Daniel, in particular, made it to this point. Lord Sugar should put stronger candidates in one team i.e Katie, Roisin, Solomon and Mark and weak ones in another and then see what happens.

He's bad, but I personally wouldn't say he was the worst to get this far. Stuart Baggs in Series 6 and Michael Sophacles in Series 4 spring to mind as being worse imo. There are others as well.

Tom was worse, and he won.

I must have been distracted on all those occasions when Tom couldn't sell because he was too busy arguing with his teammates. Like in Week 10 for example. Melody and Helen totally owned that task!

I think its astounding that any of the current boys left, with the exception of Mark who I can't stand, have got to this point. Daniel isn't even the worst of them, what the bleeding' hell does Felipe bring to the party?...

He is certainly among the very worst. The guy is basically a dribbling idiot with no discernible skills other than a knack for alienating and annoying just about anybody he comes into contact with.

I'd bring in examples of Ben Clarke and Stephen Brady.

Syed nearly got to the interview stage and his ethics were far more questionable.

Brilliant TV though and completely made Series 2 for me.

Daniel seems to be in the papers a lot this past week.

Last week it was about his £30,000 drinks bill at a bar and now it's him buying a Ferrari.

His own girlfriend was in the paper today saying he needs to stop spending so much money. Well why are you telling us? Tell HIM that!

I had no idea Daniel was so loaded.

Yeah, I'm not sure what Felipe does. He has good judgement on other people's skills i.e taking Daniel off chance to sell hot tubs and put Mark on it but that was probably obvious. I like Solomon though; he is enthusiastic and intelligent. Sanjay, Daniel or Felipe will go next week as the rest are clearly stronger. Bianca may go but I think its unlikely with Sanjay still there.

I'm not sure Lassman is loaded. According to one of those company credit check sites, his company is currently non-trading with zero assets, cash or worth. The website is still up and running - so who knows. Any accountants on here?

Daniel is a pathetic candidate and yes, definitely one of the worst but he's not the only awful person on The Apprentice to make it this far....Sophocles, Stephen, Helene and Francesca were all diabolical and stayed longer then they should have.

I think Felipe will have a solid career as a corporate middle manager within a large enterprise or bank - he comes across well and can appoint the right people into the right roles.

He is not an entrepreneur though and doesn't have a snowball's chance of winning this, or even getting to the interview stage (unless he has a killer business idea and contacts).

You never know, he only has to survive two more boardrooms. He might never lose again!

More unlikely people have got to the interviews. Francesca had already been in three boardrooms by this stage. Felipe has only been in two, and he is in my opinion a stronger performer than her.

Who knows? Maybe his family have money?

This week Daniel may shine, a treasure type hunt could be right up his street, and with his knowledge of London (I assume it will be based in London) could give the team the edge. Also with Mark on his team, negotiation should be good, that's if Mark stays on the same team. Bianca will be the stumbling block, her business sense is non-existent.

I see from the trailers that Daniel is playing the Jewish card this week with the traders he encounters. I only hope it doesn't backfire like it did for Michael Sophocles, the only 'good Jewish boy' who doesn't know that taking a chicken to be blessed by an Imam does not make it kosher.

I think I am in the minority, Daniel is ok for me, its Mark who is the problem, Mark sees he has a short fuse and picks away at it.

Daniel's London knowledge should be helpful - although in the coach tours task he wasn't entirely sure that South Mimms is a motorway service area, which was a little surprising.

Bianca and Sanjay are also Londoners and I believe Mark also works in London, although obviously he's not a born-and-bred local!

^^ But wasn't it that Daniel had told everyone off camera in the house it was a service station on the M25, and Mark was saying that, and not believe a word that comes from Daniel's mouth as he's a liar.

I can't remember Daniel's exact wording, but I thought what he said implied that he wasn't 100% certain? For sure, Mark effectively said "Don't trust anything Daniel says."

Quite a few are far worse that useless Michael Sophocles series 4, could well argue Lee McQueen who won series 4, hindsight Tom series 7, had TA been under the old format he'd have been fired long before he got to the final but LS liked his Business Plan.

Sophocles every day of the week and twice on Sunday
