Have you all noticed that it is always the older generation that do well in trials and don't shreek and yell like babies. i.e Edwina, Jennie Bond, Janet Street Porter, Carol Thatcher and Kim Woodburn to name but a few. It just shows how pathetic the youth of today have become. And no i'm not old and siding with my generation!!

I think when I was younger I'd be the same screaming jittery mess - I think as we 'mature' we get a bit more perspective possibly more 'courageous' too - I suppose life experiences and all that.

well I am older but I do run a large team of charity volunteers of all ages { who are over 18 } for over 25 years and there is a divide.

its important that volunteers are flexible so everyone is warned well in advance to be flexible

most of the time there is no need to vary shifts but every so often there will be a slight variation and its then I see a clear divide - the ones over 50 will just accept the change and get on with it some of the younger ones will not be Happy Bunnies.

As I am working alongside these volunteers it does affect who I choose as I don't want to be stuck with a load of clock watchers.
