His pathetic attempt at excusing his ugly and humiliating belittling of Jake by claiming it was 'banter' was the most uncomfortable thing I've ever witnessed on the show.

His expression of hardly concealed rage well and truly gave the game away.

Vicious AND stupid - definitely NOT a winning combination.

Amen to that.

I was waiting for the mask to slip.

I'm guessing he's had some trauma in his past - parents splitting up possibly. Raised by mum? Clings to new males then takes his anger out on them when they become familiar.

I know, i didn't think it was classed as 'banter' either, just an excuse to slate him on TV. He's clearly jealous of Jake.

I'm glad the other celebs noticed. He can try and laugh it off, but I think his hissy fit could possibly cost him the title - unless ITV do a damage limitation exercise.

Jake was just as bad to Jimmy.

I can understand him being jealous of Jake's physique, but that cruelly relentless tirade was something else. I sincerely hope he's voted out first.

It was a weird exchange, I couldn't work out who was joking who was seriously angry they kept flipping and they were both twisting it in the solo pieces to camera

Jimmy definitely got hurt by being mistaken for a 68 year old man, and Jake definitely got hurt by being called out on having no talent and not being a celebrity. Which is fair enough, truth hurts sometimes

They both came out of it as badly as each other for me

It was bullying tactics and totally out of order, that has done him a lot of harm,it was awful to watch.

I have wavered over Jake, I thought he'd be ok and then I thought he was trying too hard but now I can see why, I mean Jimmy is going hard on the lad thing despite looking like a 9 year old boy in the flesh. Jimmy is repulsive to look at and in personality

But it was the relentlessness of Jimmy. He just went on, and on......I think it could have been banter at first, but Jimmy just didn't know when to stop, whereas Jake did.

I agree, he needs to go. He knew he went too far (talking to the Bush Telegraph), but it's too late. The damage has been done.

I think it was bullying.

And I'm disappointed that none of the other clebs stepped in to stop it. I would have big time.

It was pretty near the knuckle but that is football dressing room banter honed to a tee, Jake was just a kid in there with his suntanned muscles while Jimmy has had a lifetime of ripping the piss in a male environment

Truth hurts? Tell the truth to everyone you know and see how that makes them feel. Idiotic comment.

That was the problem for me. It started off as blokey ripping the p*ss but Jimmy took it too far and then just carried on going further over the line, even though he could see Jake wasn't comfortable.

If they'd been mates for 20 years then maybe it would be different but they hardly know each other

The twitter mob still love him and his "banter" and are all tweeting about how "hot" he is.

Me too, and indeed, in a similar situation, I have done in the past.

I don't know what that means, you seem to agree with me then say it's an idiotic comment

If you told the truth to everyone you know ie a 36 year old has a similar body to a 68 year old man it would hurt them

I really dont like this "banter" and other excuses for bad behaviour on reality shows. I gave up on CBB after Goody and her coven tore into a few folk under the guise of "keeping it real".

It's just trying to justify what a horrible, insecure person you really are. Anyone confident in themselves doesn't need to make someone else feel like shit to feel good about themselves.

Jake has never claimed to be a celebrity, he's been very honest about no knowing why he was there.

His parents have not split up and are very nice people.

To be fair he was compared to a 68yr old man. He did go over the top but they were both fine about it when talking about it in the bush telegraph.

Any young guy can do a bit gym and have Jake's body, he's hardly a Greek Adonis, think I would rather have Jimmy career than Jakes

No way Jimmy would get away with that kind of `banter` in a modern day dressing room. The scrawny little toad would be battered.

I agree. It was odd. Usually it can be put down to the edit but I'm not sure that is the case here other than there has clearly been a ton of other bantering occasions which we may not have witnessed or got the full view of.

I think it just proved Jimmy can give it but cannot take it. He was very peed off at being compared to or mistaken as Michael and his banter then became pure angry reaction.

I said elsewhere, anyone else feel sorry for Michael who was there whilst Jimmy went ballistic at the idea that his body was like his
