I agree with every word of that. What has that got to do with going out of your way to humiliate a young lad though?

Jake has a music show, done a bit of modelling and has a not bad voice. Who knows what's ahead of him. Bullard was a second rate footballer with a career that's over and tbh was never that great to start with. There's thousands out there with the same career history. He isn't that special, his opinion of himself is way beyond what he actually is. I think he's a little jealous of Jake.

Why are people defending Jimmy? His behaviour was appalling and cruel.

Thank you! Yes - I did.

That felt uncomfortable to me.

Jake made a silly joke, Jimmy took it too personally and then went for the kill in a really nasty, vicious way.

He knew Jake's tender spot, i.e. not being a "real celebrity" Jake has been open and up frint about that. So Bullyard stuck the knife in and twisted it several times before realising his mask had slipped and then tried to dismiss it as banter.

It was also horrible to Michael the way Jimmy went on.

Banter would have been to laugh off Jakes remark, make a silly but relatively harmless retort and then let it go.

Nasty, silly, vicious idiot, he's just thrown it away and if ITV try a damage limitation exercise, they are just as bad.

Kudos for Jake knowing when to stop, he is more mature than Bullyard will ever be.

The jungle does expose people and not always in a good way.

I think it just proved Jimmy can give it but cannot take it. He was very peed off at being compared to or mistaken as Michael and his banter then became pure angry reaction.

Yes, I felt sorry for Michael. The odious Jimmy doesn't seem to care who he hurts.

Ah but little does Jimmy know that he has actually hurt himself now. He lost a lot of support with his 'banter'. He could probably kick himself but that's not his style, prefers to kick others.

Jimmy's Mr Nice Guy mask has slipped and he was shown to be an insecure, weak minded bully. That was not banter it was purely rude and nasty behaviour.

Jimmy was horrendous tonight. It was more of an outburst than 'banter'. He is clearly jealous of Jake. He can see that it's possible Jake could take the show crown which is why he started belittling him and making him look small, but it has back fired badly for Jimmy and I hope he gets voted out first. He really think he has it in the bag.

I find him extremely fake in the trials. He doesn't come across genuine at all.

I don't see that Jake did anything wrong to be honest. All he said was that Vicki thought that Michael was him, only to be subject to a tirade of abuse from Jimmy.

To me that sounds like he is laughing more about Vikki making that mistake and was very clearly a joke. A simple laugh and quick comment back would have been enough for harmless banter.

Jake's remark was definitely banter (something beloved of Jimmy). Jimmy's remarks were nasty and downright cruel. It's obvious that Jake is insecure about his place in there so it's no surprise he would get upset. Bulldog (the name Dullard gives himself, puke) tries to make out he's the top man, joker, jack-the-lad blah blah blah. What we saw was an insecure runt who is jealous of a younger, physically better man.

No he wasn't, Jake was clearly having a laugh with Jimmy, having true banter, and Jimmy was jealous and threw a hissy fit.

What is clear is that most people understand the difference between banter and bullying.

People who can't lack humanity,

Or, just possibly, all of us do understand a bit of banter, and that's why we know that what Jimmy said doesn't fall into that category.
