They should've both been fired after the outrageous display of bias against Lucy Pargeter last year.
I have never liked Rob Beckett in this show, and was hoping they would not bring him back.
Joe Swash, however, brings a lot to the show, having been in there as a contestant, and winning. He is great at the challenges/trials, and speaks from experience, which I think is good.
Mostly, I think he is unbiased and surprisingly insightful.

I agree. Joe Swash in particular is a grinning nasty piece of work. That was when I finally gave up on what became a complete mess of a show. I'm sure it was never so biased before. Most of it was taken up with the idiot Joe and his trial exhibitions, talentless Laura Whitmore hopelessly unable to behave like a host, all screeching over each other and that sad excuse for a comedian.
I still record it and fast forward over everything except the exclusive clips.
He's pathologically unfunny. The pathetic attempt to gloss over Jimmy's behaviour last night was the final nail in the coffin of the spin-off for me. In fairness to Alice whatsername; she did try to express disdain at Jimmy's behaviour but was shouted down by cast and crew. A joke of a show.
