Hi all!
Please could someone give me some advice on a few things!
Just bought a new Samsung 40" LED SMART TV
- how do you turn it off? Without the red standby light. I can turn it off by the remote, but if I press the power button on the back it turns back on. If I just press the power button to turn it off I get a menu come up and I then have to move the power button down like a joystick.. And then it only goes into standby!!
- when I press standby button on TV remote to turn the TV on, it turns my Sky box off!! I have the IR extender so TV can control Sky. Meaning I then have to press the sky button on the Sky remote to turn sky on.
- what is the best screen settings? Movie mode gives best picture but it's washed out and not sharp. Normal mode is full colour and sharp but very bright! Looks like people have a lamp on their face! I turn the brightness down, contrast, backlight but can't seem to find the right setting.
It's annoying that my 7 year old LCD LG has a better picture! And if you press off on the TV.. it goes off! No extra menu with more options.
