DMR-HWT130EB Accurate Recording Start No Longer Works
Until recently on main channels like the BBC the unit would always start recording just before the program.
However, that no longer works and it just starts at the scheduled time and stops at the scheduled time thus missing program starts sometimes and even worse their ends. This even happens on BBC 1 HD England and BBC2 I have tried a complete re-tune but it did not help ![]() Anyone else having this issue? have the changed the format of the program start data or something in the guide data? Many thanks |

After extra tests, factory reset etc and more test recordings I have found it is only the HD channels that are effected.
e.g. try and record Family Guy on BBC3 HD and you will get some of Eastenders and incomplete episodes. Record it from BBC 3 SD and it works fine. Same problem with all other Freeview HD channels from what I can see. |

I have not been able to reproduce your problem on my 130 tuned to Midhurst.
Have I Got More News For You, BBC1 HD on series record on Monday started okay at 22:39 (schedule 22:35). Tonight Family Guy, BBC3 HD on single record started okay at 23:02 (schedule 23:00). Both stopped at the right time ahead of the following programme. |

Many thanks for that, a 100% manual tune does the job
![]() Steps to do this Make a note of your recording timers (if important as these will be deleted) From setup menu select initialise player After you turn the player off and restart it Press return quickly to abort auto tune Press function Select setup Select tuning Select new channel message and turn off Select manual tuning Scan your manual channels lowest number first e.g 40, 43, 50 Press return to quit pick region your region Press exit to return to TV Put timers back Just tuning to Newhaven also worked but it puts the HD channels in the 800 range rather than 100 Tuning to Whitehawk only does put the HD channels in the correct place and the box and starts recording again at the correct time ![]() Again, thankyou. |

What is the difference between a "Post" or a "Thread?"
