I think that the calls have started (and maybe even finished). Then again, some people could balls up the next stage and they may trawl through the tapes looking for replacements....

The only thing that bothers me is the rumour that they'll have a chav ex car thief on the show. Surely ex-cons are banned? I'd vote that scrote off straight away anyway!!!

I am so annoyed my phone was broken on the days that they were doing calls- it was the only number i gave them. I am just really hoping that they tried to call me, and will hopefully call me back!!

I think you are right. However, I don't believe they will have contacted all 50 people at once. If what I've read on on what people have said about the BB process in the past is correct then they will audition people in batches of 10.

Those two people who claimed they have been contacted will probably be going down to London on Tuesday/Wednesday.

They don't seem to like to give too much notice so I guess people will be still called this week and next.

So, I don't think it is over for us yet ...

Will be interesting to see if anyone gets a call next week.

You are probably right Valentino as I thought they were actually down to around 100-120 people, not 50 as has been widely reported. They would be interviewed at a rate of 10-20 a day over a week or two which would then take us up to mid April.

They would then whittle that away to 30-50 and make their choice in early May.

I can't see them ringing around 100 people in one or two days (as I think the calls only started on Thursday as messages claiming to have been rung started then).

The message on the other board claiming to have been rung on Good Friday is clearly a hoax. As such - its the next few days or bye bye BB!

It is exciting, but I'd be far happier if my phone rang!!

I actually believe the Final 50 list does exist (they quoted people from C4/Endemol) - they got to that number sooner than I thought.
I think the *7 April* is probably the end of the process as quoted by our friend (nottsguy) who recieved the consent form. This also fits with The People article in that they will get to the final 20 in the next 2 weeks.

It seems that if the Sunday People is stating that the final 50 have been chosen it means that thoose of us that have not been contacted have no chance from now on. I'm a bit disappointed when I my letter stated "BY 7th APRIL" Oh well. here's to next years...

After reading this thread and opinions, theories, i thought i would add mine, first of all i think they would notify the final 50/100(however many) seperately, over a few weeks, as the it gets more secretive over the last stages, so dont give up hope yet!

As for the people, since when has any newspaper been right in BB predictions? I think it would be easy to send a reporter to auditions posing as a wannabee housemates just to try to get as much inside details as possible.
