At the end of the day, while he has not been as prominent as others, he had enough fans from being a chart topping rapper to get to the latter stages

If he survives it won't be because of his personality.

I doubt that. Unless you have someone with a massive current fanbase, I don't think it makes any difference at all. IAC has often been won by people who came into the show with no fans. I'm sorry to think of Tinchy going first though - I like him, and think he has done well at trials. I don't think he would have been first out if it had been a vote between all of them, but between four is rather poor odds.

Hardly his fault when several others in there have been hogging the limelight with some right royal play-acting.

I don't mind Tinchey actually. I think Foggy is a goner tomorrow night as despite Jimmy's behaviour and cowardly antics - I feel he is safe, as is Mel.

when will people learn? Twitter stats don't translate to tv votes.

Tynchy is a goner.

Tinchy seems to have faded into the background - not a good omen when it comes to the voting but I would love Jimmy to be the first to leave

ITV2 said one of 1D tweeted support for Tinchy, so you could be wrong.

Unfortunately.

Many of Tinchy's followers will be inactive. People who can't be bothered to stop following him on twitter. It's the same on youtube. Only a small percentage are active.

I agree - he may have a lot of fans but they may not be watching. Sadly he has been swamped by bigger louder characters in terms of airtime. I would like to see how he is when there are fewer people around. I think he would slowly blossom. He was very much out of his comfort zone in the first couple of episodes but has settled in well. I love his friendship with Micheal.

He did get voted to do a challenge randomly despite not featuring much at all. I wouldn't discount the fact he has enough fans to see him through a couple eliminations.

Rappers have die hard communities on their side, I can easily see Foggy going instead of him.

I wish that Jimmy would go instead though with his annoying TOWIE persona.

I hope he stays. What we see of him can depend on who else is hogging airtime. I like him because there are no tantrums, he's tackled trials with enthusiasm and shown appreciation of what's at stake for the whole camp.

I would like to see Jimmy go first, then perhaps we'd get a chance to see something of the quieter members of camp. Unfortunately I don't think that will happen. He causes controversy and that seems to be what some people see as entertaining.

There seems to be a trend these days for being fans of the talentless. I blame Twitter.

Tinchy is talented, millions of people enjoy his music

It is not my type of music personally, but calling him talentless just smacks of bitterness

Millions of people 'enjoy' Gaga, millions of people 'enjoy' Bieber, millions of people seem to be 'fans' of Kim Kardashian, and what exactly does she bring to the table?

In this day and age, fanbases do not equal talent. they just mean that the sheep mentality has kicked in. It seems that it's cool to be part of something these days, but then I guess it always was a bit that way, it's just that the volume is higher these days.

Tinchy has real fans (hard to estimate, but probably a few hundred thousand) from the 10 years before he went 'mainstream' and started making chart-friendly music, when he was part of Ruff Sqwad and an influential arist in Londons grime scene. But as others have said, they might not be the type to watch and vote so he might be relying on some of his teenybopper fans for votes

To say he doesn't have talent is just bitterness, he's done alright for himself hasn't he
