Show some love for Harry Reid who in my view is easily the best actor we've had for Ben Mitchell! I really appreciate this recast.

Not only is he a major improvement from the previous actors but he's very sexy too! I find him very hot and attractive!

I love how there's more character to Ben now. I think he's doing a great job of portraying and balancing the dark and soft side of Ben. It makes his character more interesting in a way. I have enjoyed his scenes with Jay too, the brotherly duo works pretty well. I look forward to seeing more material from him.

I absolutely agree. They could have been great together and I feel if they had hooked up then Ben would have eventually accepted his sexuality after a certain period of time had passed with them spending more time together.

It's a shame that the sexy Johnny (Sam) quit. So much potential.

To my mind hes the definitive Ben ,His portrayal is not over masculine but hes not really camp.Hes a very non stereotypical gay male and I feel Harry is perfect for the role.He kinda does look like Phil Mitchells son and Ian Beales half brother the physical resemblanc or suitability for the role is to me really striking.

I really hope this flawed but fascinating character sticks around longterm.

Harry is brilliant and has breathed new life into Ben. I didn't care for Joshua's Ben but I'm engrossed in post-prison Ben. He really isn't getting enough screen time, though.

What absolutely fantastic scenes, having discovered his mother Kathy was alive having thought her dead for 9 years. His anger when she banged the door until he let her in, his gushing words after all that had happened to him and their first embrace was really well acted, well written and fitting for a character who has had so many challenges to cope with in his young life. Well done EastEnders
