S4 - default browser
My S4 keeps asking me to select a browser each time I open a link. I select 'Always' for it to keep using Chrome but each time I click a link it asks me again. Anyone have a fix for this?

May be try clearing the default actions for all your browsers and try again?

That's just it, none of them are defaults which is why it keeps asking me to choose one.

Did some searching and other people have pinpointed a certain app that cause the problem. You may need to delete installed apps one at a time to determine the culprit.

Did they say which certain app it was? I can't find anything about that.

This is the thread i found, which seems to point to a U.S retail store app (Kohl Store); http://forums.androidcentral.com/sam...t-browser.html
It may be something else for you though. Its always worth removing recently installed apps in general if you ever notice strange goings on, especially lag or battery drain. |
