Whether he 'bullied' Jake or not is open to debate. The fact remains that to go at someone like that who you hardly know isn't on. How was Jake to know how Jimmy meant it, given that he had no previous to base it on. Jimmy is a tool... and a broken one at that!
By the way, I am no fan of Jake's, he's trying too hard, and I'm not sure that he even belongs on the show.
Indeed a lot of people are feeling very embarassed, and lighter in their wallets. They bet big money on him to win, He was actually odds-on with some bookies.
Oh come on, it was visibly obvious that Jake was very uncomfortable about what Jimmy was saying to him, he was embarrased especially when he was being called into question about what he's doing there, what skill does he have etc. Yeah some might say he shouldn't be on the show but it's not up to us or Jimmy to judge, the producers obviously thought he should be and he is doing really well on there winning most of the trials. I wouldn't be surprised if he did win and it would be a well deserved win too
And just because Jake didnt take huge offense to it at the time doesnt mean it wasnt still unacceptable. Just because the person on the receiving end seems ok with it, doesnt mean it is ok
Jimmy can dress it up as he wants, he's full of it and I'm glad he's gone. Even if it was 'banter' at best he had no social awareness of the impact his 'banter' had on other people. He killed his chances of winning on the weekend with his spiteful, vindictive behaviour and he only has himself to blame. The fact that he went and not tinchy, who has been invisible from the off, tells you all you need to know.
