I think it's more likely that he simply wondered what the hell Jimmy was chuntering on about, like most of the rest of us. His rant was pretty confusing, one minute it seemed like a bit of fun, then it would twist, then back again. I'm guessing he might have felt a tad uncomfortable being told some truths, but bullied? Not so sure.

It was nasty whichever way you choose to cut it, and it's great that the yob has gone.

BOI BOI!”

Total bollocks

I will absolutely guarantee that when Jake leaves he will confirm that it was all absolute banter, that he knew that all along and that he was completely fine with it and that Jimmy was actually one of if not his best mate in there.

Some of the people on here are completely unaware of 'lads' culture and what is acceptable and what is not.

Didn't Jake say on tonight's show that if Jimmy had said some of that stuff to him on the outside he would have floored him, or words to that effect .

So Jake didn't find it light- hearted leg pulling .

I imagine that he probably will say that. As a budding celebrity he would be wise to avoid making anything of this, unless he simply wants to be one in a long line of tabloid fodder.

Ya think? mr sutie worked offshore in an all male environment for over 20 years. He's as tough as old boots, but he reckons that Jimmy was lucky not to have his lights punched out.

A lad's culture doesn't always mean that ANYTHING goes. The public judged, and they clearly hated what they witnessed.

At the time, he looked uncomfortable. I felt uncomfortable watching it, and I did again when it was shown after the eviction. It made a lot of people uncomfortable. I know what banter is, and I'd call that abuse. Calling someone a 'p----' to their face isn't something I consider to be banter- in my opinion, he'd lost it. He forgot where the line was, and some genuine nastiness slipped out. Maybe they made up later, but that was an unpleasant incident.

Maybe Jake will publicly laugh it off after the show, he's a nice guy after all, but that doesn't necessarily reflect his truest feelings.

So when Jake confirms this and he will, the people who have been parroting 'bullying' will now change to 'He's lying, he's lying' we were right all along I tell you!

Yeah right, I think they probably will!

I've been in football, rugby and cricket teams. I have never heard "banter" close to anything like that.

A vicious and very personal attack when the person on the receiving end clearly looks uncomfortable is not "banter" or "joking".

Totally unnacceptable.

But it's ok for him to call Jimmy names is it. ?

Jake clearly didn't see it as banter. I never knew banter was destroying someone and making them feel as little as possible. You can't just pass anything off as just banter. Jimmy knew it too

After seeing it a few times now - it wasn't bullying - it was banter (it probably went a bit too far) but it reminded me of one of those 'roast' things they have a lot of in the States.

I agree with Maggie that when he comes out Jake will say that it WAS just banter.

Anyway - whichever way you look at it - its done Jake a power of good - he's hot favourite to win now! Everyone's feeling sorry for the poor, wee, defenceless little waif!

Jake made a little joke. Bullyard came over the top and attacked him mercilessly on a personal level.

Big difference,

Well the voting public obviously found it offensive - he's gone - it didn't go down well.

However it was meant - whether it was banter or not it damaged his popularity.

I loved Jimmy up until that point - then I saw a side I didn't like. Don't feel any animosity to Jake - people can analyse it/make excuses/down play it but ..........Jimmy's gone at the end of the day

Im surprised to hear you've been in football but never heard banter like that.
It's very common place.

Well I'm not claiming bullying or banter, I think it was something in between, not everything needs to be pigeon-holed. It was unacceptable behaviour, that's about the only description I can find, not strong and offensive enough to be bullying, not friendly or humoured enough to be banter with someone who is pretty close to being a stranger.

Jimmy acted like a total tool, and if that is shuttlecocks too... then so be it.

That is so hard to believe, almost impossible I would say.

How many 'initiation ceremonies' did you have to take part in?

Given your previous answer, I think you will say you have never heard of or taken part in any of those as well!!!

Yes, that is it . Thank goodness that the majority who voted agree with the majority on here and saw that exchange for what it was and it was a very bad reflection of geezer Bullard .

The guy was fav to win but there is a decency line you don't cross and Jimmy crossed it and was responsible for his own downfall .

No.

It's like when David Icke said he was the 'Son of God' I thought it was highly unlikely and near impossible, but couldn't be 100% sure he was lying.

Nothing to do with people looking for the bullying angle. It has everything to do with that loud mouth trying to belittle people for his own pleasure, he admitted that it was a sport to him. When you look at how much he enjoyed taking the piss out of others, chastising them for not completing trials, then cannot take the piss being taken out of him, and screaming like a banshee when he done trials, is it any wonder that he was voted out first?

The bloke is a knob, thank god the public got it right.
