Not in my opinion - I loved him on X Factor and was gutted when he left so early.

I do think that now he's had this exposure it could be a lucky break for him. Watch this space.

I just liked Jake's attitude in the trials opposed to the craven cowardly attitude of Bullard and I think it was that the got up Bullard's nose and prompted the 'banter'.

So...having fears is cowardly now ?

No - but it's nice to see someone at least try. a lot of them have fears and phobias - it's great when we see them trying to overcome them. Jimmy didn't appear to try.

I think it is a shame that Jimmy has gone as I can't stand that Jake. He tries too hard to be funny and he just ends up looking like a clown. I want Michael to win now.

That's not what happened.

And Jimmy wasn't trying too hard to be funny? Jeeeeez the guy was relentless - talk about desperation - he just couldn't keep it up though - it slipped and whooooooooosh - he's gone!

They were both infantile little boys.
Jake is a dim wannabe.
Jimmy is a washed up footballer. (The '70's called and they want their player back).
Jimmy was harsh.
Jake said something along the lines of 'I'd batter you if we weren't in here'.
As bad as each other. Jimmy was nasty, Jake mentioned violence.

Exactly - he may have come 12th but that wasn't 12th out of 12 it was 12th out of as you say hundreds of thousands. I never understood why he went and some others stayed. There has been a history of X Factor people going on celebrity reality shows - mainly I believe because they are current and peole are interested in them.

It's people siding with who they like. Whether it's because he's better looking, not from London, brings out their maternal or other instinct or because they are prone to see bullying more than others, who knows. For some they didn't like Jimmy before he wiped the floor with Jake, so he was hardly going to win in this forum anyway...

And actually, what Jake said was a little worse than that. He called Jimmy an effing Mr Burns looking c**t, but you're right of course, a double-standard is being applied.

I hope Jimmy gets on and has some fun now he's left. I have actually quite enjoyed laughing at him, occasionally with him, and at the reactions he's provoked. I can't say that for too many of the other guests left, but we're surely going to see some dramatic changes without Jimmy's intimidating and bullying presence in the camp as Jake and the others no longer have to live in fear. Or maybe they will be exactly the same?

Pleased he left as he was incredibly irritating.

Why do people have to take offence for other people. It's like on the News last night someone had written to the BBC to complain about a made up character called Samantha on "I'm sorry I haven't a clue" on Radio 4 being constantly the butt of innuendo's and they had to investigate the damn claim.

Did Jake say Jimmy bullied him, not as far as I know, so why are people going on about Jimmy bullying Jake and taking offence for Jake. Jeez people get a life. Bullying is bandied around far too much these days and I am sure a lot of people don't know what Bullying actually is and involves. A few words that you don't like don't equate to bullying.

It's not about taking offence on Jake's behalf from my POV, more that I saw a nasty side to Jimmy that, coupled with his inability to perform tasks as well as anyone else and his misplaced arrogance made him an undeserved winner and he irritated me so I am pleased he's out.

Jimmy is one of those people who thinks if he says something and thinks it's funny, then everyone else must find it funny. He said as much last night. He's also one of those people who thinks they can be as rude and mean as they like, and brush it off as "banter." He picked on the thing that he knows Jake is self-concious about It wasn't bullying, but it was a low blow, and you could tell Jake was hurt by it, as much as he tried to brush it off.

I liked Jimmy to start with, and he is actually a friend of the family (my uncle and cousin know him) but his laddish type personality was wearing thin.

Well said.

There was no bullying. They both gave as good as they got and Jake is more than capable of standing up for himself.

I'm sure theres a lot of boring downtime in there and they all chat shit at times to relieve that boredom.

And when it gets to be a group thing, then it reminds one of Macaulay's famous remark: 'We know no spectacle so ridiculous as the British public in one of its periodical fits of morality'.”

The problem with all of this is that it's those DEFENDING Jimmy who are mostly playing the 'bullying card' as far as I can see - in a nice little bit of switch and hit.

There was a thread on here called 'Is Jimmy Ruining the Show?' that was running to several pages before ever he had his run-in with Jake.

I thought then, and think still, that Jimmy is a very unintelligent, inarticulate, boorish loudmouth. It was funny the first two or three times, but after that it got really old, really quickly.

The fact that his supporters totally ignore the fact that his childish, cowardly antics didn't appeal to a great many people other than themselves is never acknowleged; they just jump straight for the reverse bullying card.

He didn't bully anyone - he's just an ars*hole.

That just about sums up how I see things, and probably in terms that Jimmy himself would understand.

Like Jimmy said last night and this morning no one is showing Jake giving as good as he got, only Jimmy seems to have been shown, shame really I liked him.

Well Jimmy soon became the victim of the "banter" because the public didn't like what they seen/heard and gave him the red card.
Jake joked with Jimmy and I don't think anyone was expecting the tirade of abuse that followed.
