Can't help wondering who will be GIVEN the airtime now Jimmy has gone.

While certain celebs perform for the cameras in the hope of being shown on the highlights (Kendra, Jimmy) we shouldn't forget that we usually see (at most) half an hour of highlights on the evening show - and considering they are all being filmed 24/7, the producers decide what we see.

We have been shown Jimmy "entertaining", Kendra "struggling", Mel "snapping" etc which is designed to make us think that the rest of them must be doing nothing. However, it's clear from some situations that there have been lovely relationships developing between the others - foggy/ Jimmy/ Jake isn't the only bromance going on there - Michael and Tinchy are spending a lot of time talking, and Edwina is clearly participating a lot more than we are being shown.

We've hardly seen any of the Dingo Dollar challenges (don't they do one every day?) with other people doing them, yet they are a great opportunity to see the less shown camp mates in the limelight for once - Michael and Vicki were awesome yesterday.

I wish they'd give us a fairer edit - it's not fair on those who aren't being shown much, and equally, it's not fair on those who are being perceived as airtime hogs - who may not actually be doing much more than any of the others, but the producers want us to see them!

It's interesting to see the public kick Jimmy - clearly a producers favourite - out first despite being so popular in the first couple of weeks..... A few minutes careless "ban-er" shown on a weekend show cost him dearly, yet the ITV2 crowd - and Ant and Dec- seem genuinely surprised that he had been voted out, despite the highly favourable edit he had mostly had.

I don't know what show you are watching, where we're not seeing Edwina, but I wish I was watching it. I think Jake and Edwina have dominated the show since they arrived and certainly last night, Edwina was the focus of the main stories that were just the camp, that weren't the trial, the challenge or the vote. To me she's getting the most attention. I think we've seen a fair amount of Michael too. Tinchy and Nadia get the least attention in my view, and Foggy doesn't get a lot, if his team weren't putting him up for trials.

What I meant was that Edwina is doing even more than we are being shown..... She is clearly getting on with just about everyone (apart from Kendra) and interacting with them all the time. Her thoughts on the sofa brought her observational skills into focus, and showed that she sees more of what's going on than we have been led to believe!

Tinchy also seems to have the respect of the rest, and Nadias winning of her part of the tombs of doom was glossed over in favour of Jimmy the wuss running away and crying from his....

What I'm saying is that those who are perceived as airtime hogs are doing so because the producers choose to show us their antics.

I for one wouldn't have given Kendra (or Flanagan or Mc Keith before her) the satisfaction of airtime when she made no attempt to do the tasks - I think that the celebs should be told that if they don't at least TRY to complete the trials, that they will simply not be shown - apart from the intro and the "I'm a celeb" line. Then they would realise that the only way to get on screen would be to actually get on and do it.

Edwina is as savvy as any established reality celeb

as she has shown us she knows how to get AT

her lying back and telling us exactly what she wants is proof of that

PS. She was so pissed off that Kendra beat her in that last challenge
