Help needed please - LED TV audio (27")

Hi all

I need a telly for bedroom but limited on space. 27" is largest but also toying with 24".

Regarding 27" I've settled on two unless you can recommend another. Budget is £250 or less ideally.

Two are Samsungs LT27D390SW and LGs 27MT55S. Both are 1080p, smart TV etc but the Samsung has 5w of audio (unsure if this is 2 x 5w speakers so 10w overall) and LG has 10w (again unsure if this is per speaker or total).

My telly is located about 7 foot from head of bed and room isn't massive (about 9 foot across).

Would 5w be sufficient? It'll be hooked up to Sky HD. Reason I ask is that tge Samsung has a better image quality so it's down to picture quality v sound wattage.

Cheers MB

5W is more than enough, the problem isn't the power, it's the puny low quality speakers used.
