Jimmy blames editing for making him look like a bully (vid)

The words came out of his mouth regardless of the editing. You can't put words into someone's mouth no matter how clever the editing.

For me he came across as a big headed, self obsessed bore and thank goodness he was voted out.

He can pinpoint incidents which he claimed misrepresented him all he wants. But he can't seem to accept that a lot of people might have got sick of him for being annoying and shouty. He seems to be more bothered about looking for excuses why the voters didn't do what he wanted them to do.
He should just accept that he did a job, got paid, and that should all be that matters.

A lot of people might not have voted for him not because he's a bully, but because they thought he was an annoying self-absorbed co*k who was always trying to hog airtime.

That and the fact he wasn't at all funny and hopeless at the trials came well before bantah or no bantah. That was only a couple of days ago. The thought of the show tonight is at last pleasurable, apart from airhead Kendra and how it feels when the dentist stops drilling my teeth.

Do ITV pick out the bookies favourites and blindly go with it, as they did with Joey Essex last year?

They'll be laughing all the way to the bank.

I feel sorry for anyone staying at the Versace Hotel, with that lairy idiot around.

I was waiting for a comment like this. But I think iac wanted him as the winner and favoured him so I don't think it was because of editing.

He is the only campmate to realy get on my nerves and I dare say I am not the only one, that's why he is out nothing to do with the editing, you were just not as liked as the others Jimmy.....

Jimmy had the most air time and no doubt was one of the 'chosen ones' (along with Jake, Edwina and Kendra who have been all but forced down our throat). From what I've heard he gets a lot of praise from the ITV2 too defending him on every occasion. The reason he left is because we're fed up with him and the voters did not vote for him, while they did for Tinchy, Foggy and Mel!

Jimmy is not a bully.. from what I saw he is a real lads lad.. and to be honest think there was no malice at all in what he said to Jake, the only problem was.. ! Jakes reaction to his comments which were that of someone who really took it very personally which indiates that he was extremely sensitive to what was said to him. Now I dont think Jimmy would have known this... hence the uncomfortable viewing we saw from the conversation we have all seen. Had Jake laughed it off and given him some stick of his own without coming across as such a victim (although i genuinely think that was not his intention) Jimmy would still be there and we would have had seen a great relationship between them.

Its a shame as I think they both really have respect and like each other. I feel that Jake realised this after listening to what he said in the hut afterwards about it.

Only my opinion of course..

He thinks very highly of himself if he thinks that is the only reason he was eliminated, with regard to the banter-gate he clearly still does not appreciate he went way to far the rest of the camp was stunned into silence you can't undo what he said Jake made a light reference for someone mistaking him for Michael hen then launches a full on rant implying Jake is worthless.

However I think people were still 50/50 over it what sealed It for him was Sunday show he was rallying the troops and was the only one not to complete the trial then had the audacity to criticise Mel saying it was only rats.

Spent most of my working life with lads who banter & that gobshite meant what he said.
Look at it again & look carefully at his face as he said it & then ask yourself if you would have been happy because Jake was clearly not (regardless of what he says now)
The golden rule with banter is "not what you say" its "how you say it"

I'm A Celebrity's first evictee, Jimmy Bullard, has slammed ITV for editing him into a bully on the jungle show – and is shocked at the weight loss he's experienced in the squalid celebrity camp.

Speaking about the 'banter' with Jake Quickenden after Bullard's exit from the jungle, the former footballer told MailOnline: 'I've seen that [footage] back and it was totally tongue in cheek. The way that came across on TV was totally not how it came across in camp.

'The best person to answer that is Jake. We're great friends and we're going to be for a long time. It was total banter.

Twaddle He said that he knew he had hurt Jake when it occurred. He told Jake and said in the Bush Telegraph that he could see in Jake's eyes that he had actually hurt him but he revelled in that. He went too far, he knew it when he did but he's only just found out that people aren't too fussed about him. He must have thought dancing in his underpants was going to blind us to everything else about him

As I said 'My opinion' thats all... and to be fair it does not seem to have affected jake at all !

He is in there to promote himself.. and from what I have seen tonight he is doing a fine job!

So well done Jake! You got the sympathy vote but dont blow it by being a sleeze with the women..

The big girls (as in grown women) have done well in the jungle so I'll never understand why people think it's an insult to call him one.

Yes, he complains about the editing on one occasion when it doesn't show him in his best light, but it's funny how he doesn't suggest that all the positive edits he's had have been inaccurate isn't it?

BIB is the truth of the whole thing. Lets wait until Jake gets out and see what he says to say.

I think it's all even blown out of proportion. It's so obvious him and Jake are really good friends. Jake was upset when Jimmy left. Why would he be if Jimmy had "bullied" him?

Well the campmates in the other camp seemed to think he took his banter too far and we did hear Edwina, Micheal, Vicky and Kendra all agree Jimmy took it to far

My own take on it is that they were both called into the bunker separately after the banter display and Jimmy was asked if he felt he had gone too far and that is when he realised he may have done so and tried to back track. I would imagine Jake was asked if he was okay or felt Jimmy had gone too far and that is when Jake didn't want to come across as being wimpy so said it didn't bother him and he was only pretending to be upset. They must both have realised at that point that it was a big deal to the producers. Neither wants to come across as a knob on telly (one a bully and the other a baby) so they have decided to pretend they are really fond of each other and all's well.

I think that is right.

When the footage emerged, the separate (later) comments from both men seemed to be addressing whether one had gone too far and whether the other was upset. Both denied the charges.

It seems very likely that they were forced to make these statements to camera to make the situation look less bad.

Everyone seems to forget that Jimmy did actually apologise afterwards realising he had hurt him.
