As already stated - as a 71 year-old arthritic (in fact have difficulty even standing) neither.
I have been told that rapid release Omega 3 fish oil tablets work wonders, I'm not sure that Ian Waite takes them though.

I must tell my consultant that his treatment for me is wrong then and I only need Omega 3.

I meant as a supplement not as a replacement to any existing prescribed treatment, please don't change your medication on my say so despite it being reliable I have not jumped through the relevant paperwork hoops to be able to practice as a doctor.

I certainly have no intention of changing my prescribed medication. When you're on anything prescribed, you would be very foolish to add anything (even supplements) without consulting a doctor because it could affect what has been prescribed. Because of what I take, I can't even use over the counter throat sweets like Lockets due to their ingredients. Don't ever suggest a supplement to anyone - you can overdose on certain ones, such as vitamin A (even if you're starving in the wild, eating a bear's liver will actually kill you because of the large quantity of vitamin A it contains), or they could mask symptoms that need proper treatment..

Ian Waite could tone my bits any time he wants!
However on a more serious note this news isn't anything new. Fitsteps was started up over a year ago, and has become massive. I go to a class twice a week and love it. The nice thing is that it is suitable for everyone we have skinny size to ladies of a larger nature. There is a high and low impact version so you can work at your own pace, it features all of your favourite dances from Strictly and lots of familiar moves . In our minds we all look like Natalie ( until we look in a mirror!) and we have so many laughs. The DVD has been on sale previously and would recommend everyone to get it, and even better go to a local class which offers even more dances than the DVD's does. However the Fitsteps gang have now joined with a major company which has given them the chance to be in all the supermarkets and major press campaigns.
Well done to them all they deserve it for all their hard work

Love Fitsteps, comes highly recommended. I do Zumba too but prefer Fitsteps.

Fitsteps is a great way to get fit, using ballroom & Latin based steps, it is also huge fun. Unlike some fitness/aerobics classes, because this is a franchise, all the leaders - or teachers - have to train to become qualified before being allowed to run classes.

I know several people who love the idea of dancing, but haven't got partners, who find Fitsteps a good compromise.

For anyone interested, there are a lot of clips on youtube, though it should be taken into account that some are posted by people who have only just started!

It was lovely to see Ian Waite on It Takes Two tonight his chemistry with Zoe is still electric, it made for a lovely end to the show with them both dancing together again.
Its always a delight to listen to anything he has to say, I wonder if he is being lined up for a return to the main show in 2016?

I was also wondering how his Strictly Come Dancing fitness DVD was getting on, and if anyone here has bought one ?

I would love Ian to give me a workout, but I suspect, as he bats for the other team, he would sadly have no interest in toning my bits whatsoever. This is what I tell myself
*now makes excuses for the straight male pros also rejecting my advances*
