I think he must be.

Lord Sugars distrust of lawyers inevitably saw off Filipe, But really it should have been a double firing. I'm not sure why anyone from the legal profession would even enter The Apprentice. Lord Sugar clearly has an in built dislike of them.

But it's impossible to justify Daniels continued presence in the process.

I actually thought Sugar might give Felipe marks for initiative (even though he disqualified the skeleton) and, I'm not sure 'You know that's not what I meant' would stand up in a court of law. Sugar had it in his power to decide who won and lost this task, and I thought he disqualified the skeleton so he could get to Daniel.

But no- Uncle Alan saved Daniel yet again.

Daniel shouldn't have been fired because his team should have won. He organised them well, motivated them, somehow united them, got all the products (everything but the rope to specification) and spent about half what the other team did in the process.

The only reason he lost is cos Lord Sugar went "I DON'T LIKE BUILDIN' SKELLINGTONS. I'M SPENDING £300 ON ANOTHER ONE." A double firing on that task would've been another injustice for the pile.

Totally agree. I've been highly critical of Daniel thus far, but this was considerably his best week and absolutely deserved to win the task. A complete contrast to last weeks shambles. In my opinion anything other than Sanjay getting fired is an injustice.

If Daniel was Lord Sugar's nephew, he wouldn't have been allowed on the show. The BBC have rules that participants in shows are not allowed to be in any way close to anyone who is involved with the making of the show.

I do realise that, George.

But the saying 'Love is blind' seems to apply to some of Lord Sugars' decisions.

Some have gone for one mistake in one week only. Others survive when all logic says they should have been gone weeks ago.

But 'Uncle Alan' keeps looking after Daniel in the Lions Den.

If he really wanted to look after Daniel, he would have accepted the skeleton so Daniel wasn't even in the boardroom.

Either he had it in for Felipe or was trying to protect several candidates in the other team who he has already earmarked as winners.

Or they (not just Sugar but the production team) wanted to have a controversy (which there hasn't really been to date) to get people out in force on social media and talking about it in work the next day. And they succeeded.

You may just have cracked it, although I personally think that Felipe's card had been marked previously and this was an easy way to give him the boot.

I sincerely doubt he has earmarked Sanjay as a winner.

I find it hard to believe as well but he might have some gold mine business plan.

Even if he does, I don't think he'll win. Francesca's business plan last year was actually okay, but she had been such a nonentity on the tasks that there was no way she could win. Sanjay's business plan may stand him in good stead, but the only way he'll win is if every single other business plan offered is completely useless.

I turned to my son once he got his latest reprieve and said "I think he's discovered how to convert base metals to gold".

It is annoying that certain contestants, like Daniel, can make mistake after mistake after mistake, and just get constant warnings, whereas others have just one week where they don't shine - like Lauren - and they're gone instantly.
But then it is Lord Sugar's money, and if he sees something in Daniel, then that's fair enough I suppose. I still see Daniel going next week before the interviews, as I think it's going to be a double firing.

Really hope Sanjay and someone else (Bianca or Solomon) go next week.

More like his love child. Even a nephew would've been given the boot by now with his level of delusion about his abilities. He's not an all rounder at all. Very limited skill set.
