Better to jump before she's pushed. Good I can't be bothered with her this year. She's been boring. Time for new pro

Tend to not watch CiN so I missed that. But that would explain no 4 then.

Re the news, taking it with a pinch of salt as it's the S*n but I can't see Ola being back next year anyway, isn't she looking to start a family?

According to James her husband, that was a story/rumour the BBC started (I guess so she would be more easily dropped from the show for next year?). She or James have never said they intended to start a family. I think Ola has been very unhappy this year on SCD, she has looked positively miserable at times (standing behind Claudia) Obviously when James was dropped it made things difficult for her. Also the bullying story regarding Steve apparently upset her although she was told by the producers of SCD NOT to comment (according to James). It could have so easily been denied by Steve or the producers of the show but no comment (for or against the rumour).
Ola was in tears about the whole thing. Who would llike to be called a bully?????

No great surprise then she is not coming back to Strictly!!

Edit, actually I suppose as the series is still going she could yet quit this series (as eliminated Pros still do dancing and iTT appearances), but as she's still done a Pro number post elimination and her Twitter says she's also in Pro rehearsal for this week, she clearly hasn't quit thus far.”

I think the story refers to her not coming back next year! She would have to be fired from the show in the next three weeks to quit now, as she is tied into a yearly contract for SCD!!!! There have been a lot of negative stories regarding the Jordans, obviously it a very bad idea to upset the producers of a BBC show.

Steve was not allowed to say anything at the time either and has since said he never used that word.

It is not a yearly contract, it is a contract that is renewed or not each year. They are not on a retainer.

I think one SCM children in need, with Harry, that makes the 4

It was also mentioned 4 in the J & O Mr & Mrs 2013

I fear we are going to have to suffer the dreadful Jordans on every reality tv going.

Need a thumbs up smilie for this.

If Ola says its news to her then I believe that rather than an un-named 'source'.

Thanks for the heads up. Remind me to miss it.

I cannot stand James Jordan and sad to say I won't miss Ola on SCD, she has been so lacklustre this year. Really unengaged.

In spite of this story, I still think its a Ch5 RTV programme for this pair.

With no Ola, I won't be watching it next year.

Unfortunately I'm not overjoyed with her new hair colour which I'll be telling her next time I see her!

The "news" that the Jordans will be in "The Jump" next series is being repeated in quite a few daily newspapers and online news forums.
So it has a lot more credence.

Personally I think they had both outstayed their time on SCD a couple of series ago, when the male tried to supplant Brendan as the bad boy of SCD and the female started to think she was more important than her celebrity partner.

In many ways the pro IS more important their celebrity partner!

Without their pro dancer to choreograph and teach them their routine each week, the celeb dancers would be absolutely nothing!

I don't have a problem with either of the Jordans - they are lovely dancers, and most years both of them did better with their partners than anyone could have imagined (I had Chris Hollins down for the first elimination his year - and he ended up winning! Both of them choreographed to their partners abilities, and never over danced next to them (Kevin take note!) james on many occasions said exactly what I was thinking, and I agree with their criticisms of both the judges' knowledge of what they are supposedly judging, and the fact that the judges get an obscene amount of money for a fraction of the hours the pro dancers put in.

I think the show is poorer without James, and will be much poorer without Ola next year (if in fact she does leave). I wish both of them luck in the Jump!

Totally agree with you carouk. Not the same without James. I know he gets a lot of negative reviews but I kind of like him. Definitely won't be the same without Ola. That's something we'll have to wait and see who's in and who's out next year.

Not really, as what often happens is that one news story reported in one paper or on one website is simply copied by other papers or websites.

Not really, newspapers always pick up stories from each other. If it turns out to be wrong then they will either keep quiet or blame on the newspaper that originally printed the story.

Not really - look how many people have been absolutely, definitely confirmed for Strictly in the weeks leading up to launch night and never so much as been in the audience

I'm not surprised either. Think the BBC is doing a very good job of ruining Strictly.

I am hoping she will be happy and successful. I'm not a huge Ola fan but I think she has been treated abominally by the new producers and team at Strictly.

Me neither. Way past her sell by date. She simply does not care, is bored and pouty all the tme and does pretty poor choreography. She does love those knee slides *rolls eyes*. Not even a great teacher .

Time she went.

'In tears'? What is she? 12 years of age? Oh please!

She is a grown woman and not a child. She is also supposed to be a professional dancer and, believe me, we had to be tough. Underneath she is as hard as nails.

Why on earth believe what James says to be the ultimate truth? A not very talented has been with an axe to grind, who is desperate to find another money earner for himself - doing reality shows? He'll say whatever gets them headlines.
