Tip for the top?

There's a really good song currently doing the rounds on radio which I'm not sure of the details of but it uses the backing track to Gary Numan's 'Are Friends Electric?'; initially I was wary of it as I didn't think that the melody of the lyrics fitted in with the overall tune, but it's grown on me after hearing it a few times as it's pretty catchy and packs a punch.

Anyway, that's a good example of an 80s (well, '79 to be exact) tune being used/sampled to good effect, but a bad example was the awful cover of Nu Shooz's 'I Can't Wait' I also heard a little earlier.

That is one superb track.

Another great song is Lazy by Express2 which features the vocals from David Burn from the Talking Heads.

Ooops, The Real Slim Shady Did it again has been around for years, i've personally had it on MP3 since the Summer of 2000. I'll tell you what is good, Christina vs The Strokes - A Stroke of Genius, it works soooooo well.
