I should not have thought for one minute that Edwina is jealous of anyone regarding another "strong,self sufficient woman " - and not least concerning Mel.

Edwina already has that in spades and has done for years.

I don't think I've ever gone off someone as much as I have with Mel. Start of the show and I thought she would be my winner but she's not now. She 'claims' the evening food and then almost dares anyone to take it from her

Do you really think so ? She was a very much a woman in a mans world throughout her career, something I personally admire. Especially at her time when the Conservative party was almost completely male dominated. She clearly has little patience with certain types of women and that's her choice and her prerogative as it's yours to disagree with with her. I have seen nothing to indicate she is a woman hater tho. Far more misandry in there I would suggest

Vicki admitted that she bit her tongue regarding Mel just to keep the peace ...at times you can almost feel the tension in the camp when the food arrives. Why can the others not offer some advice on how the foods should be cooked ...what's the big deal ? Mel gets so angry....she is fooling no one .

Exactly, that's the point Kian was making. Their food has to be won and is the biggest priority. They have every right to have an input about how it's cooked. Especially if they are far more experienced cooks than her. She didn't even know the term "braising". She's spent a bit of time with a real chef, Gino and thinks she knows it all. Her perfectly serious comment last night about the meal being awful but she could say that, as she'd cooked it, was very telling indeed. She demands to be fawned over. Power trip.Is it any wonder dinner is always a misery for them all. .

Yet she seems to have got on with the women apart from Kendra and Mel.The two most insecure.

But she didn't really nail the trial. Despite her "fear of snakes", they didn't move at all during the whole time. Imo, Kendra's box was worse with all the crawlies thrown upon her
