Totally agree. She has ruined this series for me.
My highlight so far has been Michael Buerke laughing after scaring Jimmy .. and if Mel goes tonight that will be number two... here's hoping.

I started off loving Mel, but she has turned herself against me, so rude to the others, she was screaming on the phone task yesterday after more than one person was shouting, then when Tinchy took over she started doing what she was moaning about, she is a control freak.

I can't disagree about Edwina.
I'm sad, all my favourites are gone now.
It will be most annoying if she wins. I think most people like to see the 'nice' person win at the end and that's not Mel. Which is why I was hoping for a Tinchy win as there really wasn't a stand out person in there.

Tinchy was a gent , respectful and kind . Its a real shame he is not in the running now as I think it took time for people to see him

yes i really liked Tinchy i wish they'd shown more of him, as the more i saw ofhim the more i liked him; i think he would have been more popular if they hadn't wasted so much footage on Gemma and Jimmy at the beginning
Its up to people why they are voting for her but I would really like them to explain to me what they are seeing that encourages them to pick up the phone and spend money on keeping her in. I can only imagine its that they are waiting for her to blow and have an argument with someone.

Define nasty one's ? I think they have kept their cool with Mel she's the one having a strop whenever anyone mentions the cooking she puts that face on as if she was sucking a lemon . I liked her at first but now she has gone down in my estimation .

I totally agree with all you say. At first I thought she was as brave as a lion and I really felt all that nonsense last night with the snakes was a bit put on. She started off being quite sweet but I now feel that that persona was put on and we are seeing the true controlling person she is. I disliked her attitude towards Edwina when the latter was saying that everybody needed someone else. She stormed about so much going on about being independent quite unnecessarily in my opinion. I believe that Edwina was just saying 'no man is an island'..I agree with this and I have had to be responsible for myself and children but my goodness I was glad of the input of others whatever their gender. I think she needs to grow up a bit actually.
When my son asked me who I liked the best at the beginning, I said Mel, because she was my favourite, a strong, funny, amazonian woman, she was my winner !! He said straight away he didn't like her at all, he'd seen her in some programme or other and said she didn't come across well.
How quickly I changed my mind, I now think she must be the most obnoxious person ever to have been on the programme. One thing I have noticed, is that the people she has chosen to be angry with haven't actually given her a mouthful back, people like Michael, Vicki and Edwina, not that they couldn't. But the ones who wouldn't think twice about it, like Kendra or Jimmy, who in my mind was as annoying as hell, she never said anything nasty to, funny that ! maybe she was the school bully as well.

I wonder if she has issues with taking advice from those older than her. She has made a few comments about being patronised and being treated like a child. Then again with Mel, I think people just can't win. She loves ( or pretends to love) the attention Jake lavishes on her, yet-hates any attention from Vicky, Michael and Edwina. I think in her normal life she is so used to having her own way, that this camp has been a real reality check for her. I really hope she doesn't win or she'll be unbearable. Maybe she really wants it to square even with Gino😒!

Speaking on the show last night ahead of the latest elimination, Mel said that she was ready to leave when she revealed that she felt “picked on” by Edwina.
“Me and Edwina just clash” said Mel. “I respect her for all that she has done but she … I don’t know why but I feel like she is on me a little bit.”
In camp she said to Jake “I feel a bit picked on.”
The TV presenter explained: “I hate being told you’re like this, you’re like that by somebody who’s known me for about three seconds.”
Speaking in the Bush Telegraph, Jake remarked “Mel’s very independent so somebody telling her to do something or giving their opinion when she’s already got a strong mind herself maybe doesn’t come across great.”
Later Edwina annoyed Mel by asking her how her hand was, having previously burnt it, and suggested that Mel considered putting some vaseline rather than plasters or bandages on it so that it got some air.
“No plaster” retorted Mel as she showed Edwina her bare hand.
“I’m not a child and I feel like a little bit that she hen pecks me and I don’t like it” Mel continued.
