I really hope not, i too was really looking forward to seeing her again over here, but it looks unlikely now.

But at her age its obviously going to take its toll on her all this touring. Cannot blame her.

She's ill. It hardly means it will end her career. It will Just put in her bed with crappy magazines and allow her to catch up on all her fav shows for a while.

Hopefully its just a sensationalised article. It even ends with a quote saying that Cher hopes to 'come back again next year and finish what [she] started'.

The article makes it sound like she just needs to rest for now, not forever.

Depends on the severity of the illness and the lasting impact it may have.

Does it matter ? She's had her career let her retire with her Millions and let others have a turn.

Didn't she already have a "farewell" tour a few years ago?

She has them every couple of years now.

I think she's spent the last 20 years having farewell tours.
