I think All about the base as song and record of the year is a joke. Same with Shake it off

They are not really type of songs to be in that categories. But any excuse to nominate Taylor.

Up against highly succesful and popular albums by Ed Sheran, Pharrell Williams and Sam Smith I would say she was third favourate at best!

They are popular songs that were released within the qualifying period, why is that such a joke??????

I don't think their lyrics and production are grammy worthy, that's why

and whether something is popular or not, is irelevant on why something should or should not be nominated.

That's irelevant and invalid to why she shouldn't win and why they should

but if we are going to talk sales, Beyonce's album has sold the most out of all the nominees. 5 million copies to be exact. Three of which in the US alone.

I like all of the albums nominated for album of the year, but I think Beyonce deserves to win it. It's a great album and a very cohesive body of work. She set out to create something that stands alone as an album. It wasn't about doing singles or anything like that. Her intention was to create a body of work which was to be viewed as a whole, and she pulled it off. I like Sam Smith's album too...in fact I love it. However, we're talking Grammy's here, and I don't think his album is interesting enough or mature enough to warrant a win in my opinion. I love it, but I find that it's not a very mature album about love. I just think Beyonce's is more interesting.
