Think I need to get me on the jungle diet, the cheekbones on them all look great!

I don't agree - have a look at some POW camp photos and it wasn't considered a fashion must have back then - just depravation of food 😟

Skull heads. They should eat before they go in the jungle!

I think they do. If I was going on prime time tv for 3 weeks I don't think I'd want to turn up a bit fat.

Well you've got no idea about survival then. It's very important to have a good layer of fat when facing deprivation of food. Fat is a positive thing. I'd rather look at somebody curvy like Nadia and Kendra than the malnourished Melanie.

Gemma did.

(Just saying, is all.)

I think you must have a poor idea of what looking healthy looks like

It's not about survival, it's about looking good for the cameras. Rightly or wrongly, that's why they do it.

Have to disagree there, thought he looked quite ill, though not as ill as Mel.

I did wonder whether the reason Mel seemed to suffer the food deprivation more than the others is that she has clearly spent ages building a fat-free, muscular body, that presumably has a high metabolic rate. I was amused by Edwina's cheery statement that she was all right because "I smuggled three stone of spare fat into the jungle with me".

Voted most attractive by her follow campers. I agree with them

I wouldn't say that it looks good though.
Looking at Mel she doesn't look healthy no matter how fit and healthy she says she is. Not only is her skull more apparent, she appears to have veins which are very prominent in places on her head.

I'm a bit uncomfortable with the idea of being unhealthily thin promoted as a positive lifestyle. With people looking like concentration camp refugees being described as 'looking good'.
