Spiders are the biggest critter fear and phobia on earth!

I remember the day's of Andre putting his head into a perspex helmet with about 20 Huntsman in it.

Thatcher swimming in a swamp filled with those massive vile swamp spiders.

Yes, we are seeing spiders now, but for 2 or three series now they've cut back on spider usage big time.

I was ****ing sick of seeing Kendra bang on about roaches all the time.

Should have dumped a load of Hunstman and swamp spiders on her.

Bring back large amounts of spiders and stop with the cheap arse roaches and meal worms that no one is afraid of!

If someone isn't afraid of spiders, then you won't get the effect you're hoping for by putting them in with spiders.

You will get that effect by putting them in with cockroaches, or snakes, or rats - if they're afraid of the critter that's in there with them.

Like you (or like your post suggests) I would be paralysed by terror in a trial with spiders.

Snakes? No problem. Rats? A bit more of a problem, but manageable. Cockroaches? Not good - but better than spiders.

OH would be fine with everything except snakes.

Different people have different phobias and different limits.

My OH would smash any trial involving spiders - he likes the eight-legged nightmare monstrosity freaks!

I take a different view

I actually want Spiders used more because there's a chance someone might get bitten and turn into a real-life Spiderman, shooting webs up into the air and escaping through the jungle like a flying squirrel in the morning sun.

personally, I'm very happy that less spiders are used ..
as a complete arachnaphobe,it means more time enjoying the show and less time hiding my eyes and being unable to watch for me!

Personally I think there should be a campaign to get rid of the spider that attacks the screen when they go back to Ant and Dec sometimes. Scares the shit out of me every time.

Massive overuse of all these creepy crawlies if you ask me. All these 'overrun with insect' trials have been done to death.

There's a major spider shortage this year cos all the buggers are running riot round my house
