It was the same last year - most people on here thought Lucy was a bitch (thanks to the unfavourable editing) and yet most of the campers said she was the hardest working, most easy to get on with of all of them. The unfavourable editing of Lucy the Witch was nicely juxtapositioned with the favourable editing of Amy the Saint.

As someone has said - its all in the editing and what the program makers want you to see.”

Last year, most here sided with Lucy (the older, less good looking woman) and against Amy.

This year, the majority is siding with Edwina (ditto).

No he didn't, the story just got brought up again when she entered the jungle. The story is over a year old:

Glad to see you are questioning the integrity of the person who has been abused rather than the abuser. Would you do the same if it was a male on female abuse case?

I haven't seen any of it, I don't follow celebs.

LOL but you had seen enough of it to (incorrectly) question that he only brought it up when she entered the jungle?

Nice of you to judge the abused rather than the abuser though

I meant that he had sold 'his story' to the press when she has no chance to give her side because she was in the jungle. Why wait until now if it happened a year ago?

"Why don't we do x?"

"Do you want to do it? You do it! See if I care!"

[Monologue} "Moan, moan, but I don't mind! Moan, moan, it's quite all right! But moan, moan..."

We all know, and are reminded every year, that the person who controls the food has power in the camp. It takes a kind of relaxed generosity to be the best cook but not resent sharing the power around. And I don't think she has it.”

I do see your point, but I was thinking along the likes of sheer willpower and her ability to go through trials and having an opinion.

But of course, you're right, there has been a lot of coverage over the cooking wars so I can see how people might judge her on this.

I tend to watch this on FF having recorded it first.

They despise her less than the other morons left in?

They're both probably terrified she sees their interviews?

Come on, not the desperation jealousy card! Mel is hardly a beauty, no matter what their age difference. Her power trip and her nasty teenage temperament towards the older camp-mates has been dreadful to watch.

What absolute rot, most sided with Lucy because Amy was little more than a spoiled brat and wasn't a team player at all ! Mel is a control freak who spends her time accusing others of having all the faults she has herself, in spades ! She's a really unpleasant woman.

But on the other hand they have lived with Mel in the jungle and find her to be kind, hard working and a decent human being. We only see the edit and it seems Mels worst bits. Plus some people watching only see what they want to see!

I wouldn't say Mel is a control freak, she has just had low times in the jungle but we have seen plenty of positive sides to Mel too. She has done great in her trials and she gets on with most of her jungle mates.
