Freeview HD recorder box
Hi there just looking for some help. Can anyone recommend a Freeview hd recorder box. Not worried about a big drive as its for my dad but would like one that will be reasonably reliable. Any help appreciated looking to pay less than £150.

http://www.humaxdirect.co.uk/Direct/...all?ck=factory The HDR Fox-T2 is an older model but from what I've seen posted in the Freeview PVR forum on DS is still worth getting if you can find one, eg http://www.humaxdirect.co.uk/Direct/...0-b08241aeacef |

Below that is the HDR-2000T which is a current model. I would ignore the YouView models. They will work perfectly well as basic Freeview recorders but they come with loads of Internet only features such as the catch-up facility that might confuse your dad as they won't work if he has no internet but may not necessarily be hidden from view. The HDR Fox-T2 is an older model but is a great bit of kit and reasonably easy to use. |

Ahh lovely thankyou. It will be a case of either the HDR-2000 or Fox then. Thanks for all your help folks.
