Caroline second again? (Her twitter)

She's one of my favourites, feel like it's a little harsh she has been in that spot the most out of the final 6. Definitely the forgettable slot.

Conversely, Frankie is often in the latter half. Why can't it be spread more evenly?

If you ask the Beeb they will just trot out the usual "drama & excitement". Bit of a fail some weeks.

At least with so few couples 2nd on is far less detrimental than earlier in the series.

I don't think it is so bad now there are less couples. I like 'Flackers' and when she dances her best, she is memorable whether she dances first or last

Not fair though that she's second to perform again. Last week she should have performed last as it was the stand out dance.

Her dance is obviously not gonna be good tonight then.

Going near the end is not necessarily a good thing this week, especially with the Waltz-a-thon straight after. I would imagine Simon or Mark going last as the Foxtrot to Waltz is probably the least problematic costume change. I remember Matt and Aliona having a dreadful swap around before the swingathon when they went last in the first half that year.

But is the Walzathon first or last?

Last, if the Swingathon is anything to go by.

Really? Didn't expect them to get the top two from last week out of the way first.

Performance Positions Of Those Remaining :

Caroline - 1st of 6, 8th of 15, 7th of 14, 13th of 13, 10th of 12, 8th of 11, 2nd of 10, 9th of 9, 2nd of 8, 4th of 7

Jake - 3rd of 6, 6th of 15, 10th of 14, 12th of 13, 1st of 12, 7th of 11, 3rd of 10, 2nd of 9, 6th of 8, 7th of 7

Pixie - 6th of 6, 13th of 15, 11th of 14, 8th of 14, 12th of 12, 5th of 11, 9th of 10, 7th of 9, 3rd of 8, 1st of 7

Mark - 1st of 9, 11th of 15, 14th of 14, 2nd of 13, 7th of 12, 10th of 11, 7th of 10, 6th of 9, 4th of 8, 2nd of 7

Frankie - 8th of 9, 15th of 15, 9th of 14, 1st of 13, 5th of 12, 11th of 11, 8th of 10, 1st of 9, 5th of 8, 6th of 7

Simon - 9th of 9, 3rd of 15, 4th of 14, 4th of 13, 8th of 12, 3rd of 11, 1st of 10, 4th of 9, 8th of 8, 5th of 7

Based on that I'd say Frankie and Pixie have had the best draws overall, but compared to the men Caroline's got nothing to complain about. Simon's had a lot of poor slots (of the weeks when there's been a public vote, he's been on in the second half only three times) and the only time Jake's had the pimp slot, it's been for his worst dance.

(It's also noticable that the remaining six have hoovered up the pimp slot every single week, bar one, when it went to Steve)

I agree, so that's why I feel it a shame that Caroline and Simon are before Frankie and Pixie again! Oh well!

I wanted Simon to perform later in the show because I look forward to his dance, the most.

Frankie and Pixie have been in later slots, more often than not. I don't think that's fair.

Frankie has been on first twice, that's more then most of the others.

Performing last doesn't mean much at this stage (in fact it could be detrimental with the Waltz A Thon almost straight after). Besides, it can go down like a lead balloon if it's not that great a dance. Examples I can think of:

Steve & Ola's Paso Doble
Susanna & Kevin's Quickstep
Patrick & Anya's Viennese Waltz (especially this!!!)

Agreed. Need only look at Jake and Janette last week...

Maybe Simon is first to offset his so called waltz advantage....
