As usual - Craig only gave 9

For Caroline's performance he only gives a 9 despite a prima ballerina giving her a 10.

What annoys me is he only denies them a 10 so he can grandstand their performance and make it all about him. Such a tool.

I didn't think it was worth of any 10s. It bored me so much and I usually love Caroline.

None of the dances were worth a 10.

10 should only be given for perfection and Carline was not perfect! Mind you, some of the 10s for others were a bit dodgy

I completely disagree, Caroline didn't put a foot wrong as far as I'm concerned and did deserve a ten but I don't think anyone else should have got one tonight.

Why does it matter that a 'prima ballerina' gave a 10? None of the performances were balletic.

I love Caroline and she was by far the best tonight, but it wasn't worth a 10 in my opinion. At least not a full house anyway.

Not one of the dances was worth a ten tonight

What's that got to do with it ? Darcey has given 9's to a guy because he had the best "guns", she can hardly claim to be the most objective judge.

Craigs 9's are one of the things that keeps Strictly on the ground and from becoming a total pantomime. The definition of perfection should not be based on emotion (not in the case of every judge anyway)

No, not worth a 10 and neither was anyone else. I was expecting this week to be of an incredibly high level, but actually I thought this was the worse week (for dancing) for a fair few weeks.

I don't think anybody deserved a ten. But then when he finally dusts it off it will be rather random, nine sure, but why exactly that one will be a ten...

Craig will get his 10's out for Semi's and Final.

Always happens.

That prima ballerina isn't exactly shy with her 10s.

Anyway, it's all relative and Craig probably marks on average about one less than the others.

I rather admire his marking standards ( if not sometimes hls comments ) and if and when he pulls out a 10, it really will be meaningful. Whereas Darcey can hardly produce an 11 to distinguish utter brilliance.

I thought even Craig's 9 was generous to be honest, for me Caroline's dance wasn't anywhere near a 10.

In fact, none of the dances tonight were anywhere near the standard that should be required to get a 10!

It was probably because they had to (re)learn two dances.
