The day before final night on IAC and barely a thread or two active

Has the show had it's day, or are some people just not bothering to post? I have noticed an obvious absence of a few regulars too. (Blue Streak where are you? )

I keep checking back but the tumbleweed is rolling by....

Same. Normally I love the 3 weeks of IACTMOOH but not this year so I think it because it is indeed getting boring. I do not want to see those poor bugs being stamped on and being eaten. I do however like the trials without animals like the water one.
Plus the celebrities were not interesting and they were quite spoiled it felt like.

I have not watched this last week.

So it is a definite that this year much less people so why was this What was the reason we did not like it this year?
(sorry my English is bad at the moment cause I am tired)

It is quiet and hardly any nasty bitching like last year

So many people have had hissy fits when their fave has gone and threatened never to watch again so perhaps they are sticking to their word. Although I doubt it.

The show has become too predictable in every way.....

The show is past its sell by date in the current format. If it comes back next year, they need to give it a major revamp. It's become all too predictable. First place I would start if I were them, is not allowing the public to vote for the same celeb to do the BTTs twice in a row.
What a shambles

Stale format. They should do a hybrid upgrade that resembles a cross between Hunger Games and It's a Knockout.

IMO it could be because there are no big characters in there. This is the first time I haven't cared about watching The Cyclone, it's normally really funny but there was no real humour in it for me this year. This show is getting like CBB, they are running out of actual celebrities. Could be Gemma put the kiss of death on it leaving after only 3 days. That's all we are going to be watching in future, reality 'stars'.

well i couldn't watch it when Gemma was in it so i had to wait til she walked.....
then Jimmy was reallly annoying so if i missed one i'd check the forum see the episode was just more of him banging pots and skip it...
i liked Michael and Tinchy best but they hardly got any airtime mainly due to how much was wasted on loud shouty people who had nothing to offer other than being shouty and loud.
Kendra drove me nuts with her whining and "it's in me it's in me" and all the pretend shrieking.
Mel started off well in the first trial thing but never stopped moaning and that became like nails on a blackboard and her inability to even attempt to see something from anyone else's point of view was tiresome, as were tedious faux statements like "i'm self sufficient i only need a man for sex...Jake will you sharpen the knife"
i had to get over my aversion to Edwina and her politics and it says something when she was one of the more likeable campmates.....
Jake and Foggy were just meh not interesting but not unbearable (tedious flirting notwithstanding) anyone i haven't mentioned?
well that's why i haven't posted much....there wasn't really much to post about...maybe others felt the same.

Yeah there was no one this year that I was rooting for, there were people I disliked, it was all a bit bland tbh. And the ITV2 show was the worst hour of TV I ever endured.

Yeah I think the original lineup was picked to cause a bit more of a stir, it didn't help that the girl from TOWIE left & then Craig's sad circumstances.

As much as I thought this series was bland, Craig has suffered the most, having lost his brother in such a public & awful way.

I agree completely with this.

As others said you summed up this years show for me.
the ITV "everyone loves Jimmy". The guy was as funny as a poke in the eye.
Since her walk out ITV have been Ramming Gemma down people's throats Via various appearances on This morning etc.

The old versions were so much more fun. The days before they messed with the format. The days when they would give them more alcohol and we would see them drunk round the campfire or arguing. Linda Barker, Phil Tufnell and Worrall Thompson. Janet street porter and Paul Burrell. The good old days when they had actual characters in there instead of dullards

Yes this forum has been very quiet, people must be posting elsewhere ? I enjoy the forum more than the actual programme itself, the views expressed are interesting and diverse.

Everyone I know absolutley loved Jimmy Bullard and the guys all fancied Nadia.

Voted out, so BINGO , many lost interest. I was watching every program plus the ITV2 one as well . I'm not in the remotest but interested now.

You are right. The forum does feel very quiet this year. Sometimes I go away for a few hours and when I return only a handful of new posts have been written.

As CAPT SAILBAD said, maybe a few are posting elsewhere.
