It's a fix.

The only reason Mel outlasted Edwina is because Edwina wouldn't have been able to do the water slide challenge on medical grounds. that would have meant that there would have been only two contestants to do it.

I would have put my pension on last nights outcome, it was so obvious

She's gonna look real strange when she's an old , frail woman walking around with those horendous fake boobs pointing straight forward

Surely if it was a fix they'd have adjusted the vote that ejected Jimmy and they'd have found a way of keeping Gemma happy.

It's funny how people in here are slating Mel but are being meaner than she's been in the jungle. Yes she can be controlling and yes she struggled when she didn't have food but she never personally attacked people as some of you are doing in here.

But you don't know this, it is just your opinion. If she was just going in for the experience why did she continually goad some of the campmates, trying to make them look bad.. Edwina wanted to win, I have no doubt of that. I bet she is disappointed she didn't get any rumpy pumpy:

They all had very little food in the Wombats. Mel just moaned about it the most. Plus she was far too skinny going in to the jungle. I've hated her, she's a passive aggressive control freak who doesn't deserve to be there.

I know right the amount of threads being opened about her is hilarious. Out of the three the one wouldn't like to win is Jake. Initially I probably would've wanted Foggy to win but after seeing the reactions of some people here I now would like Mel to win. Reading this forum you'd think she's committed murder

I agree. She didn't eat for 4 days and got stroppy, who wouldn't?! She's been fab at every task / challenge she's attempted. She's been a great all rounder. So she has a go / moan at those who have been pissing her off, so what, so would I.




I could ask the same as in who is voting for the likes of Jake and Edwina!! A pair of annoying ebarrassing planks. One thought she was the know all and the other is the biggest wannabe on Telly.

Hmm I noticed that also. I could hardly believe she had had the nerve to say it. I also noticed that her farewell to Edwina was very desultory with barely a hug whilst the boys had seen her off in grand style.

Edwina did Celebrity Cyclone challenge before she was eliminated so how would eliminating her last night work using that conspiracy theory?

Edwina is an old far right Tory - thats going to have limited appeal. She seems sexually obsessed - that means limited appeal. She's judgemental, and has very limited and superficial judgement - thats going to limit her appeal. If you are going to offer constant commentary on everyone else, you can't be as rigid and unimaginative as she is. There is a set of the voters who may vote for those criteria, but its probably too few to make the final, just because you are a bigger character than those who have gone. before .


Mel is one of the most impressive performers on task the show has had. She's going to get credit for that. She might sound negative at times, but then so would most people doing much of the work, to considerable second guessing from people who do less themselves. fail at tasks, and volunteer to do less.

It would be silly to not have one of the most capable perfomers face the last task , and put in someone who ,physically, obviously, couldn't do it. At least this way, there is a three way final - though the prettiest bloke will probably win.

I would have preferred Mel to go in the early stages, such an immature miserable control freak.

Apart from Kendra and Jimmy the other three of my least are favourites are in the final.

All I know is, I don't want Mel to win..

Couldn't agree more with your post. The only hope I have now is that Mel will be first out tonight. Obviously, each to their own, but IMO Mel has been a real disappointment with her continuous moaning. I enjoyed Edwina in the jungle - she changed my opinion quite considerably.

I find it bizarre the dislike for Mel. I know someone who used to work with her too and they said she is an absolute sweetheart.

Fantastic jungle mate, amazonian-esque in trials, and probably the most worthy female finalist I've seen for many a year. Head and shoulders above the likes of the dreadful Edwina or Jake. . .

Doesn't seem to be doing Jake much harm - but of course he is good-looking and young so of course that's ok. And with regards to Mel being one of the most impressive performers on task the show has had" that is some call and I would certainly disagree. I can immediately think of two other women without even giving it any further thought - Jenny Bond and Carol Thatcher. Mel has done ok certainly but no better than many others over the years
