I think Mel was amazing in all her trials, she did a variety too and shone in all of them. Nadia shied away from a few.

She failed the tomb trial. The others apart from Kendra and Jimmy did just as well, . especially Edwina at 68 years old. Nadia did well in the trials she took on.

LOL, fair enough! I guess individuls aren't gonna be loved by everyone, but my pal says by and large everyone got on great with her, male and female, old and young.

I've never met her but for me, she's been a breath of fresh air, has contributed way more to the show than many others, and would be a more than worthy winner. The dislike for her seems a little bizarre, based on not too much from what I've seen- you'd read some comments online and you'd think she was some kind of mass murderer!

For me she was far more impressive in trials, and indeed as an overall jungle campmate than Edwina or Jake, and many many others. She's obviously appealing to enough of the public to vote her as the last female standing which in itself is an achievement.

I guess it would be boring if we all liked the same ones, so each to their own, but she'd be a fantastic Queen of the Jungle in my book.

Indeed it would be boring and I disagree with everything you've said about her.She's also done no better in any of the trials than anyone apart from Jimmy and Kendra.
I will leave out her cooking control farce.

Why blame Edwina or anyone else for Mels personality? She's so mixed up and a control freak. No she didn't lose her temper. Instead she used nasty passive aggression, stomped off in countless huffs and bitched behind Edwina's back to whoever trailed after the childish fool. Hardly grown up behaviour in anyone's book.
