Me too, it just seems same old, same old.
They really have to revamp it next year for it to remain popular.

I think that this year it's been a bit of a shame as first Craig Charles left, who would have been a good dynamic in there, and the start was spoiled by having that idiot Gemma Essexface shoved in our faces for whole shows until she walked (thank God). If Gemma had taken Mel with her then I think it would have been a whole other show.

The last week has been tedious. I've been watching on catch up and end up forwarding most of it. I'm only watching cos Ant and Dec make me laugh.

It has been a very dull cast this year (bar Jimmy). They seriously need to get some better names next year. If not, then it might decline as quality as TXF.

I agree this year has been dull. Too many comforts - letters - phone calls - visits, christ they're only in there for 3 weeks. Why do they keep saying "oh he or she is amazing?" they sit on their arse most of time and occasionally eat something nasty, not really amazing is it?

Do we really think all our bleatings will make a blind bit of difference with the producers. As usual they will stick to the same old format until it is bled dry and viewing figures plummet. Then it will be axed..

Me too. Even the Cyclone which is usually hilarious was flat this year. Switched off now as don't care who wins and cannot bear another second of moaning Mel. I think Craig Charles leaving threw the balance off.

Even the trials dont seem as good, to many critter based trials once the person is not bothered by the bug rest of trial is easy. You dont seem to get ones like Gino did in the tubes over the pond which was hilarious or the one Natalie Appleton did with the shopping cart on the high wire ok she quit half way,but it was entertaining.

Ant and Dec remain top quality but the show has fell flat a bit in terms of the camp and tasks. I love the cyclone but it did not deliver the usual hoots.

I'm another who is only watching for Ant and Dec.
Apart from the cyclone trial, last night's episode wasn't worth showing; it was simply a collection of repeated clips for the most part.
What really struck me last night was how very desperate to win the three remaining are - I don't remember ever seeing quite those levels of desperation in previous contestants.

Same. I had high hopes this year with stunner Nadia , playboy model Kendra and Mel Sykes but the last two turned out be as fake as their boobs and Nadia got voted out early

Mel's fake boobs looked bad when she first in but after losing so much weight they look simply ridiculous , she'd be better off covering them up for the rest of the series tbh.

They were unlucky to lose two big characters in Gemma and Craig Charles and the public foolishly votes out the real star , Jimmy Bullard.

Considering that these shows are money driven I'm constantly surprised that the program bosses allow the big characters to be lost so early on . I'd have expected them to bend the rules or even fix the voting ( who'd know or care anyway ) to keep the interesting ones in .

It hasn't been as good this year but that doesn't mean I haven't enjoyed some parts of it

I have got a bit bored of Jake and his flirting, Edwina being annoying and Mel's bickering over cooking. It's all got a bit like groundhog day. There has been some ok moments but I was sad Michael went out so early, he was involved in some of the most entertaining parts of this series (highlight being him scary Jimmy ). I also liked Tinchy. I am in the position now I don't really want any of those left to win, except maybe Foggy who is the best of those left.

No it hasn't been too good this year, there just hasn't been the entertaining contestants that you need for a show like this...Tho I wouldn't have missed an episode for anything else on TV.

Yes. I went off watching the finals in the year when that Busted bloke won it. Made no sense at all. Since then I avoid the final, but the ordinary episodes were still very watchable until this year, when they got duller and duller. No enough likeable and/or funny characters. And the hyping up of Jake was so cynical.

It's quite amusing how some celebrities when they reach this stage always say something like "I didn't expect to last this long, now that I've got so far I'd like to make it until the end", in other words WIN.
Suddenly they're interested in winning as soon as they get near the winning post, like they weren't bothered about competing before?
Yeah right.

Yes - I used to think it was great and it was. Big Brother was also good right up to the very first two or three series.

But both are getting worse every year and I have been much more selective for a year or two. On occasions I have not seen complete series and when I do ( as now ) missed some days.

I won't watch the final for example because I now have no interest in who is left.

It is a predictable bore.
