Joey Essex on Sunday Brunch -- "does a Pub Quiz have to be in a pub?"
He seriously just said that!
Al Murray sitting next to him said "yeah, that's why it is called a Pub Quiz" upon which Joey said "what if I held a Pub Quiz in my house?" "Then it would be a House Quiz Joey." Joey so cracks me up! ![]() Could anyone really be that daft, or is he putting it on??! |

Fake as a nine pound note, the same as Amy Childs.
Why people look up to these dullards is a mystery |

Yesterday I saw a trailer for a programme he is on, and he's being shown some penguins. To which he asks the other person with him "So are penguins actually birds?"

He's not that thick. it's all an act. And I can't bear to watch him, and watch everyone else lap it up.

Do people nowadays enjoy being conned by z listers?
I can't believe the con ITV allowed Gemma to pull this year, another talentless nobody. |

In a sane world he'd have to be doing manual labour for a living or sitting at home on the dole, instead he's a millionaire. No wonder people are desperate to get on TV.

I don't understand why we celebrate idiots. Why??
I'm not saying I think he's really a genius pretending to be dim, but I definitely think he exaggerates it for comedy effect, and that irritates me. And even if everything he said was genuine, it doesn't change the fact that he obviously knows he'll get a laugh for it, hence why he's always coming out with something. |
