It's a surprisingly good song by their standards. The first Union J that is actually quite good but indeed the mighty Ed Sheeran has the better song of the two so I prefer seeing Thinking Out Loud as the UK #1.
As for the whole Spotify thing, who knows what's going on there. If Taylor Swift kept her music on Spotify there's no doubt Blank Space would've been this weeks #1 as I can imagine the song topping the UK Spotify chart if it was on there right now.
