I just ignore his threads - they are easy enough to distinguish, whichever name he uses.
But I agree that it would be nice to not have so many of his threads clogging up the front page.

Trouble is you are still stuck with the epic length thread titles with awful random shouty parts and apalling spelling.

I'm going to go against my principles, but my annoyance quite frankly too strong: Terry's threads are the worst thing on this forum. The capital letters, the disjointed speech, the deliberate misspellings, I absolutely hate them. "Shock SUNETRA Brocken Foot Injury-"TRAMPLED IN TRAINING"-Was It Pesky BackingDancers?" NOBODY MISSPELLS "BROKEN", TERRY, LEAST OF ALL WITH A "C", SHUT UP.

Are you people for real? You don't like someone and their threads then don't read them fgs

This thread is against the T&Cs! Mods already explained LAST WEEK that Terry is doing nothing wrong and it's easy to skip over his threads if you don't like them!

OP, can I jog your memory back a few hours?

What sort of world do you live in where a slightly irritating dancer can be called vile?

What terms are left for the really atrocious people who do real harm?

As for your definition of Troll?
My definition would get me a ban on here for rudeness to another FM”

You seem to have cornered the market in that.
I seem much more tolerant of others than you are

I made it clear that I am not a Kevin fan, I was just questioning such an extreme term for a hyperactive wee dancer.”

Seems like you're not as tolerant as me at all. I may call out a pro or two on the show, but at least I don't create threads regarding forum members. Pretty horrible thing to do...

Never understood why the Mods allow one poster to start so many inane threads.

Terry's harmless enough. Just ignore his threads, it's easy to do. This type of personal thread just doesn't sit well with me.

This is underhand bullying to Terry.

It is also quite ironic. You moan he looks for attention, and here you are protecting some 'veteran' status.

Keep to the topic of Strictly please.

Inane threads are soooo annoying

Exactly I don't understand people would always start off threads like this to complain about him

They're are a LOT of fms that I have on IGNORE here and when they create threads I just ignore them. Simple.

And I always thought deliberately bumping a thread 'just because' was against the T&C's?

Exactly. The poster is never nasty, and at least he creates talking points. This place would be dead if it wasn't for him - be grateful he creates some talking points.

Not when they clog up half of the front page, it isn't. He can't have that many valid points that he feels he has to share with the world.

I started a thread with that very same wish a few weeks ago, and I got stamped on by the Mods in no uncertain fashion, as it was considered that I was attacking another poster (and I didn't even mention his name!)

Come Monday morning I reckon this one will be a goner too!

Apparently, you can just skip over threads you don't like (No? Really? I had no idea!) and that has to be sufficient for you.

You can't put his threads on ignore, so you can't block him.

He spams and dominates the board by bumping his own threads.

His posts may never be overtly unpleasant, but the faux disingenuity which he adopts is designed to do nothing less than take the piss out of fellow forum members too many of whom take him at face value. And his posting becomes increasingly salacious.

He's a troll.

Terry's thread titles are odd, sometimes dodgy and occasionally surreal.

They do amuse me though. I rarely look in the threads.

They are part of the fabric of the Strictly Board to me, and Terry shouldn't be personally attacked even if his threads are silly. Just don't post on 'em.

And don't go Mimi dic. You are also part of the fabric of the board and I would miss you.

In a nutshell, this.

I suspect folks would mind far less if the threads started were fewer and he made more of an effort to fit what he wants to say into an existing thread.

Once AGAIN the mods explained time and time again, that he's NOT doing anything wrong .

I hope that they come and close this thread like they've done in the past.

I agree mimi....

As for the poster in question being 'never nasty?' Really? With his obsessive hatred for a certain pro dancer and passive aggressiveness to other people if they disagree with him, I am not seeing it. And don't start me on the threads which are complete bilge, and add nothing to an interesting discussion of the show. Perhaps if the threads were not there, a few of us who have been here for many years might be interested in starting others as we used to but if they are like me, they must think what the point is, when the front page is cluttered with infantile threads.

I agree. Terry's part of the furniture. Although I very seldom go into his threads it's nice to know he's around (kind of )
