Every time I think the conspiracy theories on this thread couldn't get more hilarious, I stumble across another one!

In case you're forgetting, OP, Frankie and Pixie appeared together on ITT during the week without their partners because both Trent and Kevin were in pro rehearsals. Funnily enough Mark was also on his own because Karen was in pro rehearsals.

And if you look at the thread about the pro dance then you'll see that in fact it's likely it was recorded a previous week as the guest dancer was in Paris last night!

But clearly this evening is "don't let actual evidence get in the way of a good conspiracy theory" night on DS....

It pays to keep in with the judges, Trent will have learnt this the hard way!”

I don't think the public likes hearing dancers assume they're going to be there next week. I suppose it might have affected the vote.

Thanks all of you. Great decision.

I was not a big Pixie fan, but I am a fan of dance and fairness.”

I like watching Jake dance, he entertains me and his partnership with Janette is endearing in the same way that Chris & Ola were. He's not a terrible dancer - he's not as competent as the rest left, but he's not terrible. To say he can't dance is simply not true as far as I can see.

And I don't give a damn whether Mark has had training or not - Pixie, Caroline and Frankie have all had various forms of experience that I'd consider equally beneficial, and so have some of my all-time favourites like Kara. I've enjoyed fair few of his dances more than some of Pixie's, for example.

So I'll thank you not to insult people who think and vote differently from you.

She was high on the leaderboard - artificially so since she got up that high (as did Frankie) with the waltzathon which naturally favoured male pros. The celebs that people are claiming should have gone instead were ranked below her - her going out tonight was entirely down to the public vote. That simple.”

It would only be that simple if there was no dance-off.

The dance-off exists to reduce the possibility of a good celeb being eliminated because of a below-par performance that doesn't connect with the public. It's very much against the odds for the public vote to save both of the bottom two on the leaderboard from the dance-off so late in the competition.

Had Pixie met either Jake or Mark in the dance-off I believe she'd have gone through. The judges' over-scoring of Jake almost certainly prevented that happening.

Maybe Darcey and Len got a facefull of her breath !!!

Arguably that may have worked against her-potential voters may have thought she was safe.

Jake does have a large Eastenders following which is fair enough.

I really like Jake as a person. I like his laconic personality and his calm. Also becuase I am almost sure I saw him say 'settle down' to Janette when she was whooping and shrieking when they were told they were safe one week early on in the competition.

But I haven't voted for him and I'm not sure I ever will. Probably only if it was between him and Mark.

I also never voted for Pixie. I liked her too. Enjoyed some of her dances as well. Just not enough to vote for her.

I maintain their hypnotic bad rendition of Wuthering Heights caused the judges to be distracted by Alison's extra wafting and eliminate Scott.

Poor Scott, robbed by Dave Arch

Apparently Pixie said she wasn't doing the tour and that had an impact on judges decision. Its all about the money money . money

Funny that the Man with the Hat should be shown behind Davearch this week - was he there so he could operate invisible wires attached to Pixie's feet to stop her being able to do her cha cha legs properly? Is that why she kept climbing up the furniture?

I remember the singing for Pixie and Trent's Tango being a bit of a distraction, which obviously caused their cha-cha-cha elimination. Nothing to do with the public voting - all down to Dave Arch.

I blame the furniture. The furniture knew what it was doing.

Probably a lot like myself . She certainly would have had my votes if I thought there was a liklehood she was going to end up in the DO .

Just complacency on my part plus the fact I forgot to vote for anyone

Brendan clearly gave a "cold" type virus to both Kevin and Pasha in the hope that he might once again get to ride to the rescue and dance with one of the front runners! Now Trent wasn't actually ill this week, or at least not as far as we know, but the BBC would want to cover up any backstage rumours if it turned out that Trent was disgustingly healthy and Brendan took... further steps... to remove him from the training room.*

And yes, Tristan has been terrible as Pixie's pro partner. Do you know, I don't think I've seen him training her even once!

The scary thing is I think you probably DID need to spell out to some people that your post was one of those strange things known as a 'joke'

Yeah yeah yeah,

That's why Pixie was above Frankie on the leaderboard.

I came on hereafter Pixie went to see if it was safe to come out yet.

Obviously not.
