I'm not sure if you're a Mel fan or not - but her having the easiest trial isn't a good thing for her. The best trial to have is the eating one IMO - that is the one the audience find most entertaining.
Surely though the harder the trial the better the chance. My thinking is Mel is a distant third in the voting and not worthwhile giving a tough 'show-winning' trial.

I agree ...........Foggy will do well out of this.

I agree. I couldn't have done Foggy or Jakes's trial but even I could manage Mel's. Even with the odd floating mini crabs and fake eels. Honestly, there was nothing in that water!

And my thinking is just the opposite. Possibly the producers think so to - but we will see soon.

If Mel is scared of being immersed in water, then her trial definitely wasn't easy.
And what's all this talk about fake eels and snakes???
Do you think they were animatronics or something? ”
I don't think she is particularly scared of water. She had already said that snakes were her worst fear, but she didn't seem very bothered by them either. I think 'that is my worst fear' is Mel-speak for "I don't really fancy that". Nothing like Nadia visibly shaking when she was in the underground bunker and it was overrun with rats.
I don't mind all the creep crawlies so I though Jakes was easiest. It depends on what you fear most. Mel was not as bothered by the water and eels as she said. I could not have done the eating task.
It all depends on what your fear is. What might appear easy is not easy if it involves your greatest fears. Personally I could not do any of it, the bugs, the eating, the being underground, even just sleeping out in the open in the jungle would terrify me. I know-- I'm a wuss.

Ah the good old days of proper trials. She also did brilliantly.

Me too, a complete wuss but then I would never go on IAC.

Yes and I think that's the trial when she gave herself a nasty black eye. The snakes in Mel's looked drugged.
What made me giggle was Mel, before her trial, dramatically hyping up her fear of water bla bla bla, to look oh so brave when she coped, as we all knew she would of course. Was that a new invention?
