What a surprise, Mel gets the easiest trial - diving under water with the fake snakes, whilst Jake and Foggy's trial was much worse

I'm not sure if you're a Mel fan or not - but her having the easiest trial isn't a good thing for her. The best trial to have is the eating one IMO - that is the one the audience find most entertaining.

Surely though the harder the trial the better the chance. My thinking is Mel is a distant third in the voting and not worthwhile giving a tough 'show-winning' trial.

I agree ...........Foggy will do well out of this.

That was surely the easiest trial of the series. And Foggy's was HIDEOUS. I would rather have done Mel's 100 times in a row, much.

She definitely had the easiest trial, I'll be really annoyed if she wins !

The blokes definitely got the worst of the three here.

Foggy's tarantula's were minging.

I don't like her but I disagree. I think Jake got the easiest.

I agree. I couldn't have done Foggy or Jakes's trial but even I could manage Mel's. Even with the odd floating mini crabs and fake eels. Honestly, there was nothing in that water!

I'm sure I remember Christine Hamilton having to dive into the lake and search for stars on the bottom. Bit of a difference.

Winning its got nothing to do with the trials and all to do with who is the most likeable and not a complete **** (Jake)

And my thinking is just the opposite. Possibly the producers think so to - but we will see soon.

Jake had the easiest trial. All he had to do was stand there.

If Mel is scared of being immersed in water, then her trial definitely wasn't easy.

And what's all this talk about fake eels and snakes???
Do you think they were animatronics or something?

I don't think she is particularly scared of water. She had already said that snakes were her worst fear, but she didn't seem very bothered by them either. I think 'that is my worst fear' is Mel-speak for "I don't really fancy that". Nothing like Nadia visibly shaking when she was in the underground bunker and it was overrun with rats.

I thought her trial looked pretty tough actually

Agreed. I'm not sure why this and the snake trial are dismissed as being a walk in the park.

Jakes seemed the easiest to me out of those last 3, Foggy's the toughest.

She was a trooper in the trials to her credit.

I don't mind all the creep crawlies so I though Jakes was easiest. It depends on what you fear most. Mel was not as bothered by the water and eels as she said. I could not have done the eating task.

I think Jake's trial was awful.....having all those insects around his face, biting and nipping. Imo, Mel's was much much easier.

It all depends on what your fear is. What might appear easy is not easy if it involves your greatest fears. Personally I could not do any of it, the bugs, the eating, the being underground, even just sleeping out in the open in the jungle would terrify me. I know-- I'm a wuss.

Ah the good old days of proper trials. She also did brilliantly.

Me too, a complete wuss but then I would never go on IAC.

Yes and I think that's the trial when she gave herself a nasty black eye. The snakes in Mel's looked drugged.

What made me giggle was Mel, before her trial, dramatically hyping up her fear of water bla bla bla, to look oh so brave when she coped, as we all knew she would of course. Was that a new invention?

Out of the three I would have wanted to do Mels.
