I'm a Southerner but have lived in the North for almost 30 years - there are good and bad all over the country - madness to try and generalise.

I agree. Im a Southerner who lived up north for a while. There is absolutely no difference between the two but I just get the feeling that Northerners don't like us southerners but its not the other way round.

While on holiday abroad, met this couple from Hertfordshire
(she didn't state where exactly - must have thought I wouldn't know).
She asked me where I was from to which I replied "Liverpool".
She then said "Oh, near Birmingham, I thought it was up North somewhere"

I'm a Northerner, and I'm happy to say I like plenty of Southerners.

Yes because Peter Sutcliffe and Jimmy Saville were lovely people from the North. I think generalisations are usually pretty incorrect

Honestly I don't care who's from where but it's nice to see some down to earth celebs, I'm tired of the model esque types that just provide nothing.
