I didn't mind Jake and Mel so much but I thought Foggy was horrible especially at the beginning, I'm baffled as to how those three were in the final rather than Edwina who provided genuine humour and thought provoking moments or Tinchy and Michael who provided friendship and intelligence.

Also I bet if there were 3 southeners in the final, nobody would have mentioned it!!

And other such cliches..

well they certainly would have if they'd been 'Cockney' types with 'Lahndon' accents. But most Southerners pass unnoticed as they don't have strong accents. What was lovely about Mel, Jake and Foggy was that they had their distinctive Northern accents.

Us Northerners are the best!

I'm from London and at least we don't talk "funny" down here! (tongue in cheek statement by the way)
