For a start I hope Jake wins and Il explain why below.

Foggy seems to believe that he is the peoples champion,the man of the people and every bloke would like to go for a pint with him.

Mel is another one who "almost seems to believe her own hype"
I feel she thinks that she should just walk this and no one else deserves the right to even challenge her.
She has mentioned many times that she is an independent and strong woman.
Ì get the impression that she thinks because she has been part of 2 pretty much successful tv double acts (des and mel) and (gino and mel) she will win as she is the reason for the shows success.
She comes across as very arrogant, from the way she spoke to the older female camp mates to the faux taking control of the cookie but didn't really have much if a clue
there were the odd sign before she went in the her girl next door mask was slipping after the press released details of her assault on her fiance
Jake.
He went in after finishing 9th or 10th on the x factor , he knows he isn't the nest singer by knew his personality would win folk over and it has .

He is such a likeable bloke and I hope he wins.

My pre show faves were mel , Craig Charles and as a footy fan and knowing what jimmy bullard was like when he was playing he was my third fave.

Seeimg mel act the way she did in the jungle showed her in a different light and not one I liked.

I loved mel and I mean loved her. From the Boddingtons adverts to the cracking body.

I assume that Michael said he wanted Jake to win because it would mean so very much to him. And, not really minding personally who wins, that would be a factor.

Im so glad Mel is out that I really don't mind who wins out of Foggy and Jake...both deserve it

Jake deserved it so much more.

I suspect the itv/I'm a celeb bosses wanted foggy to win, that's why he for the eating trial which would have given him a huge surge in votes.

Jake has presented on MTV and was fairly good so hopefully he will get a presenting job on itv or itv2. He might even get the x factor job should it become available either doing it solo or with the current presenter

Totally disagree , itv wanted the non entity jake to win .

I wanted Jake to win too, OP, but I'm sure he's more than chuffed that he came second. As he said, it's further than he got on X Factor

Jake got the first task so the one with the most time for people to vote after, which is the best position to be in, so I think between the 2 men it was pretty balanced. And This Morning today were still pushing Jake very hard. He'll get whatever they've planned for him, won't make any difference that he didn't win. It would be very rare for someone who came in later to win, and I think if he'd won there would have been quite a backlash against Jake as ITV bias - I actually think he's better off longterm coming second and taking it well. I liked Jake and Mel but I'm really happy Foggy won and it was lovely how much it meant to him.

I wanted jake to win. No he isn't a celebrity but he even said that himself I don't know why he got so much stick. And to be honest I didn't have a clue who nadia or kendra were but I knew who jake was so to me he was more of a 'celebrity' than them two, I did like foggy so was quite happy he won he just wasn't the most exciting to watch but a nice guy
