I did't know of him before the show but it was clear how much it meant to him as the days went by. I was really chuffed that he won. Good luck to him in the future. A more than worthy winner.

Yes, the one thing that I noticed is that he really appreciated being voted for by the viewers each night, and was very surprised by it, too.

Happy for him, I get tired of the predictable wins tho ugh Jake seemed a decent lad up for the trials. Cynical old me however questioned his motive at times.

Just a genuine, down to earth guy. Thoroughly deserved - congratulations Foggy.

Foggy was the best of the last 3 IMO, so I am glad he won.

I never knew that Jake lost his father to cancer and then four years later his 19 year old brother died of the same illness. Nice video of his X Factor audition.

I was quite happy to see Foggy win, but found it rather funny and sad that he was actually so emotional about doing so.

Imagine in twenty years when he's showing people all his shiny trophies for winning motorbike races and then the twig crown and bit of wood he got for winning a tv reality show.

he won't have a twig crown and bit of wood from winning this because next year it gets pass on to the next winner

Oh my mistake, I should have realised they'd want them back as they're probably very rare and expensive. Twig crowns and bits of wood don't grow on trees you know.

Why sad ?
Just shows people like him for who he is and not for what he won.
