With Apple and now Amazon having tv boxes could we see Netflix jump on the bandwagon and launch their own box too?

netflix is already available on a multitude of devices (including the appletv), so it probably isn't worth it to make a box solely for netflix.

The first Roku boxes were launched specifically to deliver Netflix in the USA. They'd previously made the Soundbridge range of internet radios but they were dropped to make way for the video streamers. It was very disappointing at the time, Soundbridge were good radios.

I personally think it would be madness for Netflix to do their own box. For 1 they won't offer anything more than already available. And 2 they wouldn't have a vested interest in allowing other App on there, so again would be no real point of getting it. With Fire TV, Amazon, still sell the music, apps as well as selling films/series, renting etc so make money from that as well as prime.
