Evolution of Beyonce - Pentatonix

Dunno if anyone knows of the vocal outfit Pentatonix, but they're amazing. No instruments, an acapella group like naturally 7 consisting of 4 guys and 1 girl. They have one guy who does all the percussion, a bass who harmonises at the bottom and mimics low instruments like the bass guitar, lead vocalist who is a tenor by the sounds of it, a counter tenor who has a beautiful treble voice for a male and also mimics horn section, and the female soprano at the top end. Check out they're medley called the evolution of Beyonce, it's amazing

I am a big fan of Pentatonix, I think they are even better than Naturally 7 because their arrangements are truly amazing. I knew they were popular, but I had no idea they are successful chartwise and saleswise.

Pentatonix's That’s Christmas To Me last week jumped from #3 to #2 its sixth week on The Billboard 200. It’s the highest-charting Christmas album by a group or duo since Mitch Miller & The Gang topped the chart with Holiday Sing Along With Mitch in January 1962.

Thats quite an achievement.

And they are also brilliant live, here is the live performance of Silent Night:

Just quickly say that I typed theyre instead of their in the op, haha.

I'm a massive fan of them too, they performed tracks from their Xmas album at the Rockefeller gala the other night and sounded amazing and I too prefer them to naturally 7.

At the moment I have Run To You on repeat on Spotify, love it. And am now getting slightly addicted to Mitch and Scotts YouTube channel "superfruit" lol.
