[Game] The X Factor: Project Stars - Live Show #4
Hello everyone, you're watching the fourth live show of The X Factor: Project Stars!
Last week, we said goodbye to Sina & Soni after a night filled with great performances across the board. The duo found themselves in the bottom 2 with sing-off goddess Johnny Robinson, who managed to survive yet again via deadlock. That's the second group Johnny has knocked out in the span of two weeks, can he redeem himself tonight? Speaking of tonight, it's Floor Fillers night tonight. The remaining eight acts will tackle dance floor songs. Some acts will sing club songs, others have taken a more...creative approach. Whether these song choices will be accepted by the judges and the public remains to be seen, but I can tell you that we're in for an exciting night. As always, one act will leave the competition, nothing new there. Before we begin, please give a warm welcome to your Project Stars judges and the top 8: pingu58011 and the over 25s Johnny Robinson Kye Sones Raign Rabin bboy1988 and the last of the groups Paris Inc. yohinnchild and the boys Judah Kelly Tom Mann RabidWolverine1 and the girls Chloe Papandrea Sharon Rose We're a few minutes late, so if everyone could confirm their presence as soon as possible we can start in a timely fashion. ![]() |

Two out of four isn't too bad I guess, so we'll just start. Stephen can catch up once he gets here and I will post Nathan's smiley review at the end of the show.
Up first tonight, it's Chloe Papandrea taking on a song by an American talent show act. It's a small world isn't it? Walk Away by Dia Frampton https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=MlnhmlJ8bok |

Chloe, I am afraid that I didn't enjoy that performance. You are not a quirky girl and that was really quirky which isn't what you are. You have a gorgeous pop voice and I think Nathan just picked the first indie style song he could find and used it for you. For me, you haven't lived up to your judges houses performance and I really hope you can get back to that sort of standard!!! |

David seems to have vanished, so he too can catch up once he gets back.
Up second tonight, it's the first of Pingu's three over 25s. Please give it up for the singing chimney sweep - it's Kye Sones everyone! Elevate by St. Lucia https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N8aM18_G76Q |

Kye Sones
*Standing Ovation* Kye, you absolutely smashed that. It just suited you perfectly and it showed off your voice in the best way possible. It was so uplifting and you have definitely proved what a consistent act you are, That was phenomenal and I think every single person has been proved wrong about you after your great performances week in, week out. I love mentoring you and I hope we can continue for a long time. Well done and please vote all!!! |

Stephen's comment
Stephen sent me his comments a couple of days ago, and thus they don't include the girls.
Kye Hmmm Kye I thought the theme was floor fillers? I am not sure that song is really a floor filler and something that would be danced to at a party although I suppose it depends on the type of party. I thought vocally you were ok. The song was nice and you sang it well but it didn't make me go wow. |

I’m actually really glad that ‘uptempo’ was the key theme this week as I think it’s going to push all the acts into doing something a little bit different. For me that was your best performance in the competition and that was down to the fact that it wasn’t just a stripped back performance; that song was good for your vocal and progressed all the way through. I liked the style of it too and for me in the lives you have always been a bit overshadowed by Sharon in the Girls category, however that was the performance where you have arrived. I know Nathan has had a bit of a week, however in this case the wait was good. Well done. Kye Sones Kye, I think you've been the most consistent from the overs and have made yourself into a big contender for me. You're the act that keeps on delivering and that voices allowed us to hear your tone and vocals in the verses and also deliver a bit of power too. The chorus' the vocal was a little covered by the music, however as an overall performance it worked incredibly well - I loved the build up and drop towards the ending and as I said previously you're the shock of the competition for me. I can see you going a long way if Pingu keeps on delivering with the song choices. |

Mixed comments for Kye this week, will the chimney sweep survive again?
Next to perform are five girls called Paris Inc. They're taking on a different genre tonight, so let's see how that works for them. Change The Record by Melanie Fiona ft. BoB https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UqJLjV2wI6k |

Girls, you are the last group standing and in some respects given the theme it may have been good if I saved Sina and Soni last show as it would've forced them to do something different. However the deadlock decision was made and you are the last of the groups. I feel like I'm coming across like I'm never happy with the groups (which isn't true as I thought Paris Inc's performance last show was amazing), however that didn't work for me. Paris Inc are the cutesy girl band with a higher pitched tone who lend themselves to pop. The song given is a deep voiced soloist Melanie Fiona, I'm also intrigued as to how we're meant to view the rap? Is one of the girls doing this? is it just on the backing track? is it dropped completely? either way I'm not really show how that song really fits in with you as a group, it may have fitted the theme but not the act it was for. Last show I thought you'd finally clicked in this competition and came alive, however I think that was a case of going backwards. |

Girls, I haven't been a fan of you in this competition and I really wanted you to change it around...but I don't think you did. That was far too RnB which isn't what you are. You are more of a pop group. For me, this sounded more like a Sharon sort of performance rather than yours. Also, what happened when B.O.B started doing his rap? Sorry but I really hope you can bring it next show because at the moment, you seem a bit random at the moment!!! |

Girls again that was another amazing performance. I to be honest came across this song when I was out the other night and asked the DJ what it was called haha. I think vocally you girls were amazing and throwing in the rapping again is exactly where you girls should be well done. |

Ouch, some honest criticism from the judges there for Paris Inc. Could Stephen lose his final act tonight?
Let's see if Raign Rabin can do any better with the wonderful Jessie Ware track her mentor gave her. You And I(Forever) by Jessie Ware https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=orvvZpVT38E |

Raign
I think vocally Raign your mentor has been good at picking your songs and always seems to find a suitable song but again like Kye did I consider it a Floor Filler it definitely wouldn't make me get up to dance on a night out so I don't see how it fits the theme? |

Raign Rabin
*Standing Ovation* Raign, finding an upbeat performance for you was actually a lot harder than I thought it would be. However, we did it and I am so proud. I loved the beat to this performance with the whole electro style going on. Your voice was also beautiful and so angelic which suited you to a tea. That was so different to anything you have ever done before and I am so proud of you for doing that. Well done and I hope the public vote!! |

Last week I was a bit of a critique with regards the song; whilst you sung it well the song was held back and didn't really go anywhere. Here I think Pingu has tried something different with you whilst still retaining your tone. I liked it because it was slightly different to the performances that we've seen from you before. Again like last week though this didn't feel instant and the song didn't really let you have a stand out vocal. You're one of the big hitters in this competition and therefore maybe expectations are high but again I did feel a little underwhelmed by the whole production as a whole. |
